Spinners will instantly understand your over-spin and ply-back method to twist your picots; we use this method to gauge the amount of twist in our yarn and get an idea of how our final product will look. Is your Pilot Frixon Pen the same as the one used on paper, or is it specifically made for fabric? Thank you in advance.
Awesome video! however if you want more accurate measurements I recommend starting on the actual 1st or half inch on the tape instead of the metal part, not all tapes start at 0 perfectly.
Hello! I was wondering if you could show the circle closing after doing the second method you showed us. I keep trying to close but it yanks the twisted picot flat into the circle...
I won't be able to make a video showing this for awhile, but it does help if you hold the stitches with your left hand and sort of preshape them into a ring while you pull the ring closed.
Thank you for the translation assist! I have not tried this technique with beads, but it should work. You may wish to use a bead with a larger hole if you try it.

Yes, it is exactly the same technique as used in plying yarn! And it's the same frixion pens as made for paper. :)
