Suppose its nice that with time people are focusing on the positive, albeit with quite a bit of exaggeration. Paula as no icon! Her successes were often countered by the press calling out her manipulative behaviour and exaggerations.
Watched it, she was so good, she still should be with us today along with her daughter. I really forgot about the programme she did and how good she was in a kind of Princess Diana way with her eyes and questions and how relaxing and beautiful she was.
@@redd605 It was so wonderful to see her again. I was always in awe of her, she was intellectual and charismatic. Yes you are right she was like Princess Diana. But all in different ways. LOTS of creative history re-writing in this documentary. Weird that Belinda first blamed Bob for driving Michael to suicide (look up - Police Statement of Belinda Brewin) and NOW its Michael's fault that Paula chose to leave control freak Bob? Keep in mind that Belinda's bf Andrew was one of the people in charge of Michael's missing money and the estate never showed the properties, how much they sold for, or what was sold to give Paula enough to pay off her legal bills and purchase two homes!

@@lindazarik226 True. Read the online article In Excess Unruly Hearts, Oliver James Paula Yates WordPress. In it friend Jo Fairley said Paula sat in her car on Christmas day in 1993, lamenting the pros and cons of leaving her unhappy marriage. “The ‘anti were that the world would hate her because she’d abandoned Saint Bob, and that she wouldn’t find anybody [a partner] to take on three kids. And that Bob would make her life miserable.” Fairley, who knew the couple as well as anyone, saw Bob as a Victorian figure who tried to control his wife and disliked her spending money. So paula was thinking of leaving Bob before she even knew her next boyfriend would be.

Horrible woman and VeRy exaggerated boring docu! She was constantly witnessed threatening to take her life and the babies if Michael didn't marry her and the timing that the people in the hotel next to Michael heard him yelling, it was at the time he called Paula (the story he yelled at Bob "they aren't your kids" isn't in any coroner report - so fabricated). Michael's mother Patricia, said she feared on the night Michael died, that Paula may have yet again threatened to take her life if Michael didn't marry.
