i think.. on coming to black challenge, kdk realised how stupid she was in winning the advantage by making best dish and then simply let go the advantage by giving everyone ingredients as per their comfort. result? she is black challenge. that explains why she became so adamant today.
nayan on the hand is smart and balanced. he is defenitely human, generous and doesnt believe in cheap competition like Aruna (always planning mind games). at the same time, he keeps his advantages and his needs above all and hence maintains a sportman spiri also.
winning masterchef is not about being best cook. but having a chef attitude, as once said by chef garima. this explains why nayan won. and also some partially and unfair building of challenges and advantages. that explains why priyanka was eliminated so early and gurkirat sustained for so long

9:56 Aruna!!! This lady was so rude throughout the competition and always using the housewife and women empowerment card. But hello! You can be kind, soft spoken and an empowered woman at the same time! Why do you have to be rude all the time? Being competitive is one thing, even Santa was competitive and never forget, a HOUSEWIFE. But she maintained her dignity throughout the whole season. And it felt like the judges were often quite partial to Aruna. 🙄

Aruna isn't housewife. She comes from a wealthy background and introduced herself as an entrepreneur when she came for audition. Her arrogance and rudeness are offputting. She doesn't realise even when she's criticised for her weird combos like Paratha with frozen element.
Gurkirat made a big mistake by not exchanging Chicken..he announced rigt in the beginning he will not give chicken.. thats why all problem started.. he assumed Suvarna will take mutton..
and who comes to masterchef and not know how to cook mutton inspite of being a non-vegetarian.
You can see Shanta, NJ and Suvarna are in the competition till the end because they worked on their skills before coming to tthe show..
Contestants like Aruna, NJ, Priyanka were very limited in their skillset.
Gurkirat is vegetarian, not non-vegetarian, that's why he didn't know how to cook mutton
