I just found out that this video is actually a pre-recorded performance they did prior to the SMA, and then they performed again during the actual awards show. You can find fancams of the actual performance and I noticed their vocals are different from the ones in this video (don't think is live tho, more like a one take live pre-recording that they lipsync to). Still, it makes me wonder why didn't they upload the actual performance with those live vocals instead of this test performance... The actual performance even has an audience cheering very loud for them which makes the whole thing so much more powerful (also Winter was wearing long hair that day

You can see how hard it is for them to lip sync because of their awkward lip openings and facial expressions, which would naturally come out when singing live. Those who claim that this is a live performance are ridiculous. I've seen how SNSD, RV, and Aespa perform live and this is not how they sing. They're better than that.

If they were good at live, it wouldn't be as clear, they wouldn't even sound like their choreography was hitting... But I heard a bit of Seulgi, Wendy, and Karina's voices for the others I doubt they're actually live...

But to be honest if you listen well, then you really hear the voices of Wendy, Seulgi and Karina, although not in all parts they sing parts. But once again it needs to be explained that sm entertainment are professionals in pre-recording or lypsnc, they are better at that than live ... No hate ...

Well the answer to that is for not just for visuals but production quality....for the online or broadcasting world. Majority of those who view the shows are not with the artists on stage. If you have ever seen an award show in real life its even more anoyying hahahahh because they have cameras following them and even covering their faces. Basically you pay to see them in the big screen only. Its not really a concert.
