Vocalign is awesome, I use it on every song with vocals. My workflow is a bit different in FL, I use a sidechain setup. Without vocalign, alignment would take much much longer. Thank you for continuing to share tips and knowledge, it's much appreciated 👍
Hey thanks for the video was super helpful I appreciate your help on using the plugin but PSA: if your using logic and the “capture button does appear for the guide track these are the instructions in the manual: If you’re using an Apple Silicon Mac, rather than an Intel-powered model, you’ll currently need to switch Logic to Rosetta Mode to use the VocAlign Project 5 AU (ARA) plugin. To do this, right-click the Logic Pro application in your Mac’s Applications folder, select Get Info, and check the ‘Open using Rosetta’ checkbox.
I found this useful for tracking dialogue in films. I could pair the Shotgun mic with a lavalier track. Would you know if the software is phase aligned?

I don't want auto pitch... Melodyne is much more powerful when it comes to pitch correction. You also get drift/ vibrato editing/ sibilance/ the ability to pitch chords and individual notes within chords. Melodyne and Vocalign ultra shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence! Haha
PLEASE BE ADVISED: After a little bit of research, I discovered that you must run Logic in Rosetta on Silicon Macs in order for the ARA version to run properly.
