Is the volumes in box sets usually in good quality? When I’m buying VIZ singles they always have tears in the corners of the spines. I thought it was from the printing company when they cut them or something, but these seemed fine!

The paper quality seems the same to me but they do seem a little thinner. I got the the single of vol 21 and it does seem a little thicker than the others but its not really a big deal to me.
They are like mini box sets like Kodansha does for AOT, nothing major but: Komi (first four volumes) - Target CSM (first four volumes) - BAM JJK - I forgot where this one is going to
