I think the biggest issue is 'checking your phone' when a moment gets awkward. Same with alcohol, I think the phone can take us away from some feelings that we are meant to feel and deal with in that moment rather than using something to get away from it. It's the same case with using booze or your phone to replace the feeling of being bored. It's obvious that peoples social skills and productivity have declined immensely from social media.

I’m a store manager at an optometrist office. I’ve been on a path to trail up quickly and get into a high management position. Now, at 26 in a pretty good position, I feel the purpose in what I do. I truly see where I help people, and how I can change the entire path someone is on. Giving someone the ability to see a little better, AND saving them money is HUGE in this industry. Once you find sole purpose in what you do, it changes your entire mind. It’s not about the position, or money. It’s about the way you empower others once you get to a position of more responsibility. Celebrate today. Celebrate the wins daily. Focusing on yesterday is pointless outside of growing from it. I love the dynamic George brings to the table, somehow he’s able to bring Logan back to Earth in a way that is subtle yet humbling, but doesn’t embarrass anybody in a way that comes across as offensive. He’s able to keep things light and playful but input opinions that steer the demeanor of the conversation that create extra curricular thinking, but never feels like it’s being forced. Great episode!

Mikes discussion on doing something you love and something that makes you feel was something I genuinely needed to hear. George and Logan have a lot of good things to say.. but Mike brings it down to a level where we can all relate at home. He truthfully cares about his viewers and understands that they don’t live the same lifestyle that Logan and George just assume.
You can tell mike has lived a real life and has had struggles that are bigger then loosing some followers or money when it doesn’t truely effect you that much. I do know that some peoples struggles are different then others. It’s just hard to feel bad for someone spoiled when for example he’s like “I lost a million bucks” And is all sad about it when most people don’t even have a million dollars to loose lol. If your a real one you can tell how spoiled someone is by the way they talk about life and subjects. Mike should be the only one talking about life because he’s been on both sides of spectrum. Bro im 37 and was a drug addict until i was 35. My life was in shambles and i lost everything except my 3 lil boys. I decided i had had enough. I humbled myself and lived with my ex wifes parents with my kids. Since then i have met my new wife, acquired 3 lil girls in my new relationship and now she is pregnant with our 7th kid. Working hard and taking care of my family is my passion. I love taking care of my family including parents and grandparents... the success started with humility!!!

*I feel like I mention this in parts, a lot, but this will be my final time in full. This podcast alone is the only reason I’m still here.* _To start, I had a lot. A job. A car. About $15k in my bank account cuz I never found joy in materialistic things. I payed off all my dads debt before I even had any of that tbh. Then I moved out. Skipped out on my mental health and a few years later I lost everything. All because I have an issue with asking for help when I need it the most. I never came from a family that had enough to help so I never felt like I had that as an option and my pride wouldn’t let me backtrack. And this is where the podcast comes into play._ _You guys remember that kid that had everything and drove all the way to meet Logan and ask for a job? I legit had that in the back of my mind but I’m actually homeless. But that made me think like dude, I can’t just be sad all day and expect something just to come. I gotta work. And that’s what they talked about in a episode and that’s when it clicked. I was tired of hiding out at McDonald’s just to save data and watch the podcast so I got off my ass and collected cans and bottles for a bike and applied for MANY jobs. Got nothing but I still cashed in those cans and bottles until I had enough for a bike._ _Once I got that bike, I started doing food delivery’s for better phone service but the phone I had couldn’t connect so I basically lost out on a good amount and had to start over. I kinda gave up but then I saw an episode where George said just to give praying a shot and just see what happens. I swear on everything I love, that same night I found $20+ on the ground while doing a delivery. That was just enough to get the phone I needed for better service and I pedaled my ass off until I had it lol._ _After that I was just going around online asking anyone who needed video editing or stuff like that. Came across a UA-camr during a stream and out of 1,000 viewers, he sees my comment.. “y’all hiring?” He said no but needed someone for thumbnails since they been behind for about a year. And they had a TON of videos. Only problem is I didn’t know how to do thumbnails. I told em I could do it anyway and he shot me his info to send example and I went and learned._ _Spent like 4hrs and gave up cuz I couldn’t do it. Woke up the next day and tried again. Sent the guy 4 thumbnails and he emailed back immediately for my number. I send him two more and he asks how to send money so I give em my info and he tells me he’s gonna send $25! I was juiced. Dude sends me $250…. his text was a typo and bro I jumped around all excited. He asked for some revisions.. fast forward I learned to do sound design, logos, intros, outros, end screens, and all sports of stuff… a video I edited got on the news once… then again… he sends me $2k… then again.. $500… again $500. I been just dedicating all my time to it so much that I didn’t realize how good I got and now he wants to fly me out to live with em for a bit to fully get on my feet and dude. It’s all because of you guys._ _Before I would just talk bad about myself and think I’m worthless. Mike motivated me to get therapy and that kinda helped with understanding that despite having a form of treatment resistant depression, I at least have an answer. Something I can look at and think of how I can work around it. I worked around the biggest downfall, so I know there’s a way I can get passed this. My point is, now I try and speak things into existence, tell myself I have a purpose, and actually put effort into making my dreams come true. And sure enough it’s been working so far. Of course things fall here and there but it’s just not giving up which makes every gain feel even better._ I’ll shut up about it now lol. So thank you guys. And thanks to everyone else who actually gave me motivation from the other times I just had to vent. The love is irreplaceable 🖤

I love the dynamic George brings to the table, somehow he’s able to bring Logan back to Earth in a way that is subtle yet humbling, but doesn’t embarrass anybody in a way that comes across as offensive.

*I feel like I mention this in parts, a lot, but this will be my final time in full. This podcast alone is the only reason I’m still here.*
_To start, I had a lot. A job. A car. About $15k in my bank account cuz I never found joy in materialistic things. I payed off all my dads debt before I even had any of that tbh. Then I moved out. Skipped out on my mental health and a few years later I lost everything. All because I have an issue with asking for help when I need it the most. I never came from a family that had enough to help so I never felt like I had that as an option and my pride wouldn’t let me backtrack. And this is where the podcast comes into play._
_You guys remember that kid that had everything and drove all the way to meet Logan and ask for a job? I legit had that in the back of my mind but I’m actually homeless. But that made me think like dude, I can’t just be sad all day and expect something just to come. I gotta work. And that’s what they talked about in a episode and that’s when it clicked. I was tired of hiding out at McDonald’s just to save data and watch the podcast so I got off my ass and collected cans and bottles for a bike and applied for MANY jobs. Got nothing but I still cashed in those cans and bottles until I had enough for a bike._
_Once I got that bike, I started doing food delivery’s for better phone service but the phone I had couldn’t connect so I basically lost out on a good amount and had to start over. I kinda gave up but then I saw an episode where George said just to give praying a shot and just see what happens. I swear on everything I love, that same night I found $20+ on the ground while doing a delivery. That was just enough to get the phone I needed for better service and I pedaled my ass off until I had it lol._
_After that I was just going around online asking anyone who needed video editing or stuff like that. Came across a UA-camr during a stream and out of 1,000 viewers, he sees my comment.. “y’all hiring?” He said no but needed someone for thumbnails since they been behind for about a year. And they had a TON of videos. Only problem is I didn’t know how to do thumbnails. I told em I could do it anyway and he shot me his info to send example and I went and learned._
_Spent like 4hrs and gave up cuz I couldn’t do it. Woke up the next day and tried again. Sent the guy 4 thumbnails and he emailed back immediately for my number. I send him two more and he asks how to send money so I give em my info and he tells me he’s gonna send $25! I was juiced. Dude sends me $250…. his text was a typo and bro I jumped around all excited. He asked for some revisions.. fast forward I learned to do sound design, logos, intros, outros, end screens, and all sports of stuff… a video I edited got on the news once… then again… he sends me $2k… then again.. $500… again $500. I been just dedicating all my time to it so much that I didn’t realize how good I got and now he wants to fly me out to live with em for a bit to fully get on my feet and dude. It’s all because of you guys._
_Before I would just talk bad about myself and think I’m worthless. Mike motivated me to get therapy and that kinda helped with understanding that despite having a form of treatment resistant depression, I at least have an answer. Something I can look at and think of how I can work around it. I worked around the biggest downfall, so I know there’s a way I can get passed this. My point is, now I try and speak things into existence, tell myself I have a purpose, and actually put effort into making my dreams come true. And sure enough it’s been working so far. Of course things fall here and there but it’s just not giving up which makes every gain feel even better._
I’ll shut up about it now lol. So thank you guys. And thanks to everyone else who actually gave me motivation from the other times I just had to vent. The love is irreplaceable 🖤

I don’t know too much about Logan or Jake but I have to admit this podcast is really fucking good. I’ve been able to catch a couple of episodes and every one I’ve seen is truly entertaining.
i never thought i'd be subscribed to one of the Paul brothers, but Logan actually seems pretty cool and this podcast is entertaining. i haven't seen any reason to like Jake yet but i don't know him personally, could also be a cool guy when he's not talking mad shit on instagram or wherever
