I would note that after a while the little latch thing that secures the eliminator to the controller is prone to cracking and snapping. It happened to me after about a month or so. Several others have complained about this issue in the amazon reviews. It is very unfortunate that it breaks as it becomes hard to use being loose. I have tried using double sided tape to try to secure it to the controller, but i have been rather unsuccessful with this method. They do sell replacements on their website for $5 but i would assume the replacement would have the same issue
Never had that happen to my strikepack. Been using it for a while now. I also never remove my strikepack off of my controller. I guess if you constantly remove it and do it incorrectly that it may break over time.

If you are like me and use L1 and R1 to shoot. Hold right on the D-pad for 5 secs until the light turns white. Then press L1 while holding right on D-pad and your lightbar should go green and you are good to go.

Welcome ! I am glad you enjoyed the video. The anti recoil mod comes standard and free to use with the strikepack. You do not need the modpass. The free anti recoil is adjustable but that same setting will be applied to both your primary and secondary weapon. The anti recoil setting will save on the strikepack so even after you restart your console the anti recoil setting will remain.
Both are great options and they both work the same. If you only need two paddles then get the dominator, if you see yourself needing more then for sure get the eliminator.

I just wanted to know if you have any solutions for the disconnecting issue I have the dominator and absolutely love it but I have to unplug this thing after every round whilst playing siege, it’s super annoying and it’s cost me a few important games because sometimes the controller takes too long to switch back on Are there work arounds for this & does the Eliminator resolve this issue?

@@Cursix The button position is very natural. I show in the video how my fingers just naturally rest on the back buttons. Not awkward at all. The back buttons are very responsive and its a strong satisfying click. For sure not cheap, you feel that they are a solid button.
You are able to have a few of the mods mapped to the back buttons. They are in mod led #7 and #8. Consult the user manual to see which mods you can have.

So I seen you have your ring finger and your middle fingers on the buttons do you think it's possible to put only my ring finger and my pinky finger on the extra 2 buttons? My fingers aren't as long as yours are lol but I'm definitely wanting those extra 2 buttons like a lot. I just want to know if I can use my ring finger and pinky instead of my middle finger and ring finger on the controller.
Hello, it’s always a pleasure to reply to comments and help out my community. You are able to use your ring and pinky finger to press the buttons but it might be an awkward grip on the controller, at least for me it feels awkward. Not too sure how you grip the controller but you might have to play a few games before you get comfortable.
Hey, glad you enjoyed the video. The strikepack comes plug n play right out of the box but the mods are more for FPS games. If you plan on using mods for fortnite I would recommend using the Mod Pass mods which is a yearly subscription that gives you access to game exclusive mods. You will need a computer to set those mods up. Feel free to check out the Mod Pass website and see if you can benefit from those mods.
The eliminator has the edge because of the two extra back buttons but both perform pretty much the same. If you are looking for four back buttons then get the eliminator, if you are ok with just two back buttons then get the dominator.
Wait is this one better then the last strike pack the one with magnetic paddles? Cause I feel like the design of the paddles in the other one look a bit better
The big difference is that the eliminator has 4 back buttons instead of two. Both products work the same and are equally as good. Up to you to pick if you want 2 or 4 back paddles.
You will need to apply the weapon swap feature. When in mod mode with your mods on, press and hold right D-pad for 5 seconds and then press triangle. Light bar will turn green to indicate that its on. It might desync during playing so you will have to reapply the weapon swap feature.
This or the extremerate decade tournament controller? I want something reliable. I don’t want the back buttons to fail after a couple of months. Also which one of them has better back button placement. Thanks
Both are great and both feel comfortable to use. I would say the strikepack is the easier plug N play route and hassle free. The xtremerate decade kit does require you to install it which can be a pain if you aren’t comfortable doing it. The decade kit makes the controller a little larger which still feels good but I still love the stock PS4 controller the best. I tend to always lean towards the strikepack.

I've gotten used to the ps5 dualsense so bigger controller is better for my larger hands but in your video of the ectremerate, you mentioned your fingers naturally sit on the L1,R1, and back buttons which is not the best for me. I want my fingers to naturally sit on the L2, R2 triggers and back buttons so from your reviews, it seems the strike pack is better for that. I also went ahead and ordered the extremerate mouse click triggers that I'll pair with the strike pack. I don't mind the installation of the decade tournament thanks to your guide but I've seen mixed reviews of the ergonomics of the bigger body and where fingers rest on it
@@abk14459 Yeah thats the thing, everyone has a different grip on the controller and play style, this is why I always try to be unbiased when doing a review. I have always used L1 and R1 to aim and shoot, so my fingers will naturally go in that position, I also dont have large hands. I think you will feel very comfortable with the strikepack set up. To get my middle fingers on the top buttons and ring fingers on the bottom, my pinky fingers would not be gripping anything and it's a very unnatural position to hold the controller. I can imagine my hand or fingers going numb from long games. I'm 6 feet tall so I'm going to go with the extremerate shell that's coming in tomorrow and use the big boy controller.

Glad you enjoyed the video. I show in the video for the remap the buttons. If you want to reset the strikepack, hold action button #2 & #4 at the same time while you are connecting the strikepack USB cable into the console. The steps are written in the user manual.
Yes it’s still worth buying and is still the least expensive product on the market. The Mod pass is not necessary for most people because the strikepack comes already with free built in mods to use. A few of the free mods will work on Fortnite but the free mods are more for fps games.

Can you use strike pack eliminator to program multiple actions to one action 🤔? an example is R2 to R1 to L2 ,in Elder Scrolls online this example is the basis for something called Animation Canceling or Light weaving🤓 . Can do this "action programming" on those expensive and fragile E-sport controllers but it's a complete waist of money if this kit can do the same.
Yes, you are able to do that but you can only do that with the back buttons. You are also only able to input two actions to one back button. So example in your case, you will assign R1 and L2 to a back button. When you press that back button it will act as if you are pressing R1 and L2.
The strikepack is meant to attach onto a stock PS4 controller. The controller that I am using in the video and is stock controller with the shell color changed.

I bought 2 strike packs eliminator and they ruined 2 of my ps4 controllers. After using them 4 a while I noticed that my right stick started to move upwards by itself and with the 2nd strike pack on a new controller the same problem after a while but on the other stick.And now I can't even use them without the strike pack they still won't stop moving on their own so I seriously regret buying it even.At the start I had much fun but until the pros started.And I loved using it. I would want to know if the cronus zen could also be a possible risk for my Xbox elite 2 controller (I switched to xbox series x not because of the s.p.e)
That's very strange, I've never had issue and first time I hear about it. Very interesting to see. For the cronus zen, I've never heard of anyone having any issues with it or causing problems.
Hello Frank, your video is excellent, I use the strike pack eliminator with Destiny 2 and it is very difficult for me to configure the anti recoil, in general everyone on other channels explains the antirecoil configuration with the warzone but when I want to apply it, Destiny each Once I press the left button, the screen goes the other way, do you know how I can configure the antirecoil in Destiny 2?
Activating the anti recoil mod is the same for every game. You can always try updating your strikepack to the latest firmware update and reapply the mod.
I wanted to know what the difference between the PS4 strikepack dominator vs strikepack eliminator. Is it "better" or does it just have 2 extra remappable buttons? I don't want anything special like the mods etc., just something to make it so that I can jump and aim at the same time. Extra info on my situation: I started getting into OW2 and as you may know, some characters require frequent usage of the jump button and I just wanted to keep my thumb on the joystick to aim, without having to take it off to jump. I'm not a hardcore COD/warzone person, need good aim player, so idk if it'll be recommended if I get the dominator (as I'm casual and just want an extra button) or the eliminator (because maybe it's just better and I should go for the better one).
Hello, both strikepacks function the same and have the same features. The differences are that the Dominator has 2 back paddles and the Eliminator has 4 back buttons. Both feel great to use so there isn’t a right or wrong choice but if you aren’t going to utilize all 4 back buttons then maybe go with the Dominator. You will notice that have back paddles is a huge help and makes the difference in cod and fps games.

Follow the same process as you were to apply it but when you reach the part with the flashing orange lights, keep pressing circle till the orange light turns off. When you release off of all the buttons, the mod will be off.
Hey, Collective Minds currently supports the PS5 strikepack for PC gaming, not the PS4 strikepack but I have seen people use it for PC gaming. I’m just not sure what method they are using.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Back button setup is a personal preference. The two must haves is cross and circle, allows you to jump shot, drop shot and slide very easily. My other two buttons are triangle and square, allows me to quickly reload or swap weapons fast and tough situations.

I’ve never had any issue with the latch. There’s no reason for it to ever break. Once it’s secured onto the controller, it’s stable. You can purchase another latch from the Collective Minds website.
Sometimes I really wish the strike pack was wireless but I can’t complain that Device is amazing in so many ways.
I rather plug it in to be honest lol I don’t want to deal with the controller going dead during a match then having to charge it.

How did that break ? Were you taking your strikepack off your controller often ? You can use elastics(rubber bands) to secure the strikepack in place.

You get the same feeling but the new eliminator buttons feel more satisfying to click. The click is stronger.

Thanks for the like and I’m glad you enjoyed the video ! I explain what you are asking in the video. The mod pass subscription gets linked to the serial number of your strikepack so you’ll have to buy the mod pass again for the eliminator unfortunately.

Hi I'm really hoping that you can reply to this comment because I'm definitely considering on purchasing this but I'm sort of nervous. So I seen you have your ring finger and your middle fingers on the buttons do you think it's possible to put only my ring finger and my pinky finger on the extra 2 buttons? My fingers aren't as long as yours are lol but I'm definitely wanting those extra 2 buttons like a lot. I just want to know if I can use my ring finger and pinky instead of my middle finger and ring finger on the controller.
Hello, it’s always a pleasure to reply to comments and help out my community. You are able to use your ring and pinky finger to press the buttons but it might be an awkward grip on the controller, at least for me it feels awkward. Not too sure how you grip the controller but you might have to play a few games before you get comfortable.

Hey, glad you enjoyed the video. The strikepack comes plug n play right out of the box but the mods are more for FPS games. If you plan on using mods for fortnite I would recommend using the Mod Pass mods which is a yearly subscription that gives you access to game exclusive mods. You will need a computer to set those mods up. Feel free to check out the Mod Pass website and see if you can benefit from those mods.
When I see the layout of the buttons my first question becomes..do you find yourself hitting the buttons on the back by mistake a lot ?
It takes a bit of time to get used to but your finger muscles will get used to the motion after a few gaming sessions.

The eliminator has the edge because of the two extra back buttons but both perform pretty much the same. If you are looking for four back buttons then get the eliminator, if you are ok with just two back buttons then get the dominator.
Do you have to plug it in with the cable that comes with it or can I use any micro usb cable?

The big difference is that the eliminator has 4 back buttons instead of two. Both products work the same and are equally as good. Up to you to pick if you want 2 or 4 back paddles.

Does the Strike Pack Eliminator still attach to the controller with a skin grip on?
If the skin grip wraps all the way around the controller then the strikepack will interfere with it.
My secondary has the same mod as my primary how do i stop that please help
You will need to apply the weapon swap feature. When in mod mode with your mods on, press and hold right D-pad for 5 seconds and then press triangle. Light bar will turn green to indicate that its on. It might desync during playing so you will have to reapply the weapon swap feature.
This or the extremerate decade tournament controller? I want something reliable. I don’t want the back buttons to fail after a couple of months. Also which one of them has better back button placement. Thanks
Both are great and both feel comfortable to use. I would say the strikepack is the easier plug N play route and hassle free. The xtremerate decade kit does require you to install it which can be a pain if you aren’t comfortable doing it. The decade kit makes the controller a little larger which still feels good but I still love the stock PS4 controller the best. I tend to always lean towards the strikepack.

I've gotten used to the ps5 dualsense so bigger controller is better for my larger hands but in your video of the ectremerate, you mentioned your fingers naturally sit on the L1,R1, and back buttons which is not the best for me. I want my fingers to naturally sit on the L2, R2 triggers and back buttons so from your reviews, it seems the strike pack is better for that. I also went ahead and ordered the extremerate mouse click triggers that I'll pair with the strike pack.
I don't mind the installation of the decade tournament thanks to your guide but I've seen mixed reviews of the ergonomics of the bigger body and where fingers rest on it
@@abk14459 Yeah thats the thing, everyone has a different grip on the controller and play style, this is why I always try to be unbiased when doing a review. I have always used L1 and R1 to aim and shoot, so my fingers will naturally go in that position, I also dont have large hands. I think you will feel very comfortable with the strikepack set up. When you get it let me know how it is.

@@FrankSparapani I just got my strike pack eliminator and I'll be returning it. To get my middle fingers on the top buttons and ring fingers on the bottom, my pinky fingers would not be gripping anything and it's a very unnatural position to hold the controller. I can imagine my hand or fingers going numb from long games. I'm 6 feet tall so I'm going to go with the extremerate shell that's coming in tomorrow and use the big boy controller.
@@abk14459 everyones grip is different on the controller and everyone has different hand sizes so a controller will feel different to everyone. At least now you know which set up to go with. Let me know when you get the xtremerate set up.

Glad you enjoyed the video. I show in the video for the remap the buttons. If you want to reset the strikepack, hold action button #2 & #4 at the same time while you are connecting the strikepack USB cable into the console. The steps are written in the user manual.

Yes it’s still worth buying and is still the least expensive product on the market. The Mod pass is not necessary for most people because the strikepack comes already with free built in mods to use. A few of the free mods will work on Fortnite but the free mods are more for fps games.

You can either factory reset your strikepack or you can simply remap the paddles again by following the same steps.
Can you use strike pack eliminator to program multiple actions to one action 🤔?
an example is R2 to R1 to L2 ,in Elder Scrolls online this example is the basis for something called Animation Canceling or Light weaving🤓 .
Can do this "action programming" on those expensive and fragile E-sport controllers but it's a complete waist of money if this kit can do the same.
Yes, you are able to do that but you can only do that with the back buttons. You are also only able to input two actions to one back button. So example in your case, you will assign R1 and L2 to a back button. When you press that back button it will act as if you are pressing R1 and L2.

The strikepack is meant to attach onto a stock PS4 controller. The controller that I am using in the video and is stock controller with the shell color changed.

The mods are the same and the function is the same. You might feel more comfortable with the eliminators style of paddles.
Edit: at 16:44 it seems your grip is very natural just like on my dominator, i guess that answers my question already.

The eliminator will work on a V1 controller but you won’t be able to use a headset and mic to talk.

I bought 2 strike packs eliminator and they ruined 2 of my ps4 controllers.
After using them 4 a while I noticed that my right stick started to move upwards by itself and with the 2nd strike pack on a new controller the same problem after a while but on the other stick.And now I can't even use them without the strike pack they still won't stop moving on their own so I seriously regret buying it even.At the start I had much fun but until the pros started.And I loved using it.
I would want to know if the cronus zen could also be a possible risk for my Xbox elite 2 controller (I switched to xbox series x not because of the s.p.e)
That's very strange, I've never had issue and first time I hear about it. Very interesting to see. For the cronus zen, I've never heard of anyone having any issues with it or causing problems.

Hello Frank, your video is excellent, I use the strike pack eliminator with Destiny 2 and it is very difficult for me to configure the anti recoil, in general everyone on other channels explains the antirecoil configuration with the warzone but when I want to apply it, Destiny each Once I press the left button, the screen goes the other way, do you know how I can configure the antirecoil in Destiny 2?
Activating the anti recoil mod is the same for every game. You can always try updating your strikepack to the latest firmware update and reapply the mod.
Why don't you just get good at the game and learn the recoil patterns? Loser lol

I wanted to know what the difference between the PS4 strikepack dominator vs strikepack eliminator. Is it "better" or does it just have 2 extra remappable buttons? I don't want anything special like the mods etc., just something to make it so that I can jump and aim at the same time.
Extra info on my situation:
I started getting into OW2 and as you may know, some characters require frequent usage of the jump button and I just wanted to keep my thumb on the joystick to aim, without having to take it off to jump. I'm not a hardcore COD/warzone person, need good aim player, so idk if it'll be recommended if I get the dominator (as I'm casual and just want an extra button) or the eliminator (because maybe it's just better and I should go for the better one).
Hello, both strikepacks function the same and have the same features. The differences are that the Dominator has 2 back paddles and the Eliminator has 4 back buttons. Both feel great to use so there isn’t a right or wrong choice but if you aren’t going to utilize all 4 back buttons then maybe go with the Dominator. You will notice that have back paddles is a huge help and makes the difference in cod and fps games.

Show and explain that in the video. You can either use your headset wirelessly or plug it directly into the controller.
How do you deactivate the mod?¿
Follow the same process as you were to apply it but when you reach the part with the flashing orange lights, keep pressing circle till the orange light turns off. When you release off of all the buttons, the mod will be off.

Hey, Collective Minds currently supports the PS5 strikepack for PC gaming, not the PS4 strikepack but I have seen people use it for PC gaming. I’m just not sure what method they are using.

Glad you enjoyed the video. Back button setup is a personal preference. The two must haves is cross and circle, allows you to jump shot, drop shot and slide very easily. My other two buttons are triangle and square, allows me to quickly reload or swap weapons fast and tough situations.

Yes absolutely. The paddles are a huge help.

You have any problems with the clamp breaking? My clamp started cracking and today finally completely broke. Not sure how to fix it
I’ve never had any issue with the latch. There’s no reason for it to ever break. Once it’s secured onto the controller, it’s stable. You can purchase another latch from the Collective Minds website.
