Dekkers is a monster. Showed up big at the elite 11 events and ranked 8th out of all the QBs nationally. Huge lefty that is also pretty quick. Ran a 4.71.
I genuinely believe we have the worst special teams of any P5 team and it isn’t even close. We absolutely need to find the money to hire a special teams coach if we want to be a team that competes for the conference championship.
@@proughboy that's a great point. We just do not have that killer instinct to put teams away. I don't think It's a lack of effort but players losing focus and making stupid mistakes. I love brock purdy, but why throw that deep ball into the wind? Of course it got picked off. My dad always told me. "Being a clones fan will kill you quicker then a heart attack."

He might be the best running back in the country this year. It’s between him and Kahlil Herbert. I’m not saying they are necessarily the best NFL prospects and if you want to bring past performances and resume into it I get it, but THIS year, it’s Breece and Herbert. Hall has 100 every game and 185 back to back weeks he’s just so good wow. And last year as a freshman he sure showed up with close to 1,000 yards and plenty of TDs
This my uneducated breakdown of ISU's offensive line. Bad pass blocking- lack of experience and cohesiveness. Good run blocking- we have talent on the line. I mean some of these dudes are flat moving people. That to me is really exciting.
Idk why kids go there. They don’t make anyone look good. Like look at Kahlil Herbert. Dude doesn’t even get to start because of Pooka, but when he touches the ball he always is close to leading the conference in big runs, but no one knows him at all...finally he moves to a legit power 5 school and he might lead the nation in rushing and his draft stock his like 2nd round grade right now!! That’s why we see NFL kids break out every year who didtn do shit in college, because they went to a school that just doesn’t know what they are doing. I mean look at Kamara. Dude didn’t even get to start most of his college career hahaha. Or these kids who don’t get like any offers, go to Tulane, or Georgia southern, Florida Atlantic..and they take starting NFL jobs from so many kids who got power 5 offers left and right. I swear scouts don’t actually know how to evaluate talent, they are just group thinkers and go off reputation or what someone else said. It’s like a few coaches in the country have the ability to actually use their eyes and brains to scout. Idk wtf is going on at Kansas. How can you be that bad with power 5 money and scholarships? They can’t say they don’t get talent..somehow. Ugh I’m glad pooka was still able to show his talent despite going there. He’s goiint to be a stud in the NFL
@@schuylersavage276 You mention scholarships. Their scholarships are screwed because the last 2 coaches went heavy on JUCO kids and it ruined their roster depth. They have talent, but they only go one deep at most positions. Miles hasn’t recruited a JUCO kid in last 2 classes. He’s doing it the right way for sure. He’s going all high school to let their depth build back up.
Why does Kansas even have a football team? They need to stick to basketball. What college kid in their right mind wants to play in Kansas? They’re probably all the kids who couldn’t get into a D3 school cause their GPA’s were too low but high enough for Kansas.
It’s too bad a team from a lesser conference such as the AAC or etc couldn’t take their place in the BIg-12, you know? Someone like Memphis or UCF, who produces NFL talent year after year and has really made their programs into something else the past few years. I’d love to see what those programs could do in a power 5.
