Journey through Calne, 1993.

A real time capsule of a video showing many past places in Calne. Including the town centre prior to the building of the new library and also the houses between the old Barclays Bank and the old library. Driving past the George on London Road and some footage of the green. Also showing northern parts of Calne up towards the trading estate.

Have great childhood memories of living in Calne. I moved away 7 years before this video but it was still the same much as I remembered it, apart from the houses opposite the library. They were still just a big car park in the mid 80s, where the fair ground would come (including that gypsy kid who stole my heman toy!) [ there's my old house @ 5:20 !]
