@Remi_TL .308 isn't an improvement over .30-06 it's just a less powerful but also lighter to carry .30 caliber round. 7.62x63 compared to 7.62x51, m1 garand would be dope high power limited capacity, plus they could do cool things like actually add in the en-bloc clips and make them shoot out of the gun and get dropped after use.
