Sorry to hear of your problems. I hope it improves over time. I think it is weird that docs are zapping the cornea when the cornea is not responsible for short or long sighted vision in most cases. Your axial length of the eyeball is the problem. To correct an imperfect eyeball, you are compensating by making the cornea less than perfectly round and spherical. The cornea is responsible for 70% of your refraction. It concentrates most of the light entering your eyeball, onto the lens, which is responsible for the remaining 30% of refraction. Think carefully before you let anyone touch your cornea
Its been more than two years and I am no where near to even 20% better though I am seeing thr right doctors. Please check with Dr Hamrah at tufts. I am still in search of more better specialists hope I can get some relief.
