Genna, I need help! I’m making a penguin with the same pattern I purchased on Etsy through your google doc link. Do you carry the body color when crocheting the white? Or do you change colors and FO each row? I’ve been carrying the body color and you can see it poking through the white 😔. Is there a trick I’m missing?? I’m using bernat velvet yarn with a 5mm size hook. Love all your videos! ❤️ you’ve encouraged me to make plushies!

Using a stitch marker would be super helpful for those super long only sc around rounds! Then you don’t have to worry about keeping track

my mom said my grandmothers both had poor eyesight, and would have to find and count the stitches with their fingers all the time!
in addition to the layers, you should also get a face frame! i have long hair like yours where sometimes it just feels like its just sitting there. long layers, a face frame, chin length bangs, and doing some curls helps a lot. the up keep for this mane is exhausting. most days i just put it in a braid. lol!

I’m new at crochet and I quickly learned I cannot crochet with chenille or velvet…I can’t see anything! Is there a yarn you would recommend for beginners that is still soft but easy to see the stitches?
I love both velvet and the chunky on the penguins… But I do have to agree that the velvet is a little bit more… hmmm…Something.
Maybe it’s because he seemed a little shorter and fatter to me that it seems cuter… But they are both absolutely adorable.

So I only sell the pattern for the turtle itself -- the sunflower petals are actually a free pattern by 'Rose and Lily Crochet' and can be found for free on their UA-cam channel! :) You add the petals at the very end once the turtle is done

I think that’s the only thing that my mom had taught us how to do when we were younger (mainly cuz we got bored and didn’t wanna learn more)…And she can do like really cool, intricate coasters and doilies and make blankets and what not… But I just never really got into it… But for some reason, I just really enjoy watching your content and seeing your business grow and thrive and see your excitement.
