I was a Youth Of the Nation in 2001, now I am 38 years old, I am a father and husband. I lived my adolescence practicing Skateboarding in the streets of my city (Heredia - Costa Rica). P.O.D was always in my mornings, afternoons and nights, he went with me to university and he is constantly on my playlists while I work on my computer. I still practice SKATE but I'm slower, even so P.O.D is always in my mind. P.O.D Come to Costa Rica !!!
I'm 34... i hate being old but we're all aging differently as millenials and being able to hear P.O.D. with this type of music again makes me happy and I'm looking forward to hearing more from their upcoming album and future to come and many other bands releasing their newer music this year and the future

In Aug of 2001 I stayed up late one night reading a VCR manual to figure out how to “tape” based on a timer to record the Alive premiere on MTV’s TRL. As I would miss it at my after school job… I just clicked a “notify me” button, what a time to be alive with new POD !!!
September 11th, 2001. I remember that was the official release date of Satellite Album. I was a Deputy Sheriff at the time. I remember thinking on Sept 10th how I needed to pick up that CD the next day. I had just worked night shift and was sleeping. I got a call from my Captain, telling me to gear up and get to the office. He said America was under attack. I turned the news in time to see the first tower fall. What a day that was. The world changed forever.

I remember up almost all night to watch "120 minutes", which was the only show playing the "Alive" video... After several weeks, I finally was able to watch it once!!. I lived in Venezuela and MTV didn't play metal as they were doing in the US. What a days!

I lost my father in 2001, when I was 13, and going through some rough times. I got the P.O.D. CD with Youth of the Nation and it was my first rock CD. The music sincerely helped me through one of the rougher times in my life and started a lifelong love of rock music. This is the closest I'll ever get to being able to tell them thank you! ❤

I'm sorry to hear that. You made it this far, that's a gift. We all lost people along the way, but perhaps like they sing, we ain't afraid to die and we should bring all friends when the world is ending. Personally this song hits hard, it reminds me of the end but also tells me to not be afraid.

Yep, I remember talking with Sonny right after they finished playing a gig at The Roxy in Hollywood, and asking him why they were not signed to a big record label.
He said reps from Atlantic Records was at that show and they are working on signing with them, then Southtown dropped from Atlantic and we all know the rest that came after that.

Listened to P.O.D. as long as I can remember, carried around their early CDs everywhere, been listening to Jinjer close to 8 years, this is another dream combo just like 12 foot ninja and Tatiana.
P.O.D. was probably one of the first metal bands I started listening to when I was young, and Jinjer is probably my favorite band these days. I got to see POD open for Jinjer twice, which was awesome and also stood out to really emphasize how big Jinjer was getting to have a band that sold a few platinum to multi platinum albums opening for them. P.O.D. is still killing it after all these years too.
Been listening since Fundamental Elements of Southtown when I was 9! I liked the Truby years a lot, but I rejoiced when Marcos came back. Most underrated guitarist of the modern era. By a country mile.

I don't know what's more impressive: POD getting all of the features or all of these features that want to be on POD's new music. I love the collaborations they've been doing lately.
They wasted the opportunity here. The mixing sucks and Tatianas vocals are so low.
They've had some incredible features over the years because they have been doing for as long as anyone in their genre. They were out there doing nu-metal before just about anyone else.

In awe! I can't believe you guys got Tati on the track! I will be a POD fan until the day I die; they found out a friend of mine was on his death bed back in the late 90's and was a fan of theirs - they drove HOURS out of their way and spent the day with him, even giving him the band shirt off of their back! Such an amazing witness and heart for their fans.

I can't even remember when i started to listen to P.O.D. I had around 6 years old, my older brother introduce me to the songs. I have so much memories with P.O.D, they are unquestionably part of my life. Love u so much P.O.D! Best band of all times, for ever!

I’m 42 now and was obsessed with POD when I was a teenager.. saw them live in Melbourne and it was awesome! Drummer threw a stick into the crowd and I wrestled someone to the ground for it! Saw P.O.D. with Blindside in Seattle in 1988/9 and it still stands as one of the top 5 concerts in my life..... The fact that they have stayed true to their vision and are still absolutely freakishly relevant 30+ years later says a LOT about them.

The first CD I ever bought when I was 11 back in 2001 was satellite. P.O.D definitely has a special place in my heart. Then I picked up a SOAD album and have been hooked on metal ever since!
