THE REALITY IS THIS
A 370z makes from factory 270-290HP almost 300HP
YOU DON’T NEED expensive parts to make good power
Those Z1 headers that are really expensive... You don’t need those to make good power neither you need the long tube intakes
Me experiencing with my 370z did 330HP after mods... Before it did 284hp stock
All I did was:
Install K&N filters with the Stock box
Install Mishimoto intake silicone pipes
1320 Headers
Cat delete and a Tomei Ti
The most expensive thing was the Tomei and it was because of personal taste but you don’t need it for power.
YOU RARELY See a 370z making 400HP naturally aspirated
I think I’ve seen only 370z Nismos making like 380hp NA
THIS IS NOT CRITICISM OR NOTHING AGAINST DANNY
This is to let any Z owner you don’t have to spend crazy money for good power
All you need is what I listed above and a good local UpRev tuner with a dyno
Telling you rn a nismo and sport pack have almost no difference but a tune and it’s a very modest tune. I would only buy a nismo cause the look is dope, but if it comes to mods sport pack for sure.

I had a 370z and a lot around them.... THEY DO NOT MAKE 330HP stock.... They don’t even hit 300

Glad to hear your trans is just as clunky as mine. I’ve had numerous people ask why my car makes so much noise at idle and it’s just a characteristic of the power train. (G37 sedan 6mt)

Tuning in general imo is worth it, and necessary for FI applications and fully built NA engines. But I'm just happy to see you're having fun with it and you have a clear grasp of the pros and cons of a modified car. Keep it up man!
Pardon my lack of knowledge I just got 370z new to the club. I been reading alot about bolt on mods etc. I see alot of talk between F.I and NA engines. I know FI is forced induction which is supercharged? What is NA? I would guess stock engine with no turbo or supercharger?

UpREV is the software company and their tuner software is called Osiris. They're now at version 2 which includes launch control now. You own the license and you pay for the tune on a dyno. The license is over $350. You own it so your next tune is just the hourly rate that your tuner charges. On my track days I pay for Ferrari and Nissan GTR's; My favorite ride to drive aggressively around a race track is definitely the GTR without question and I've also driven the Lambo Huracan Performante. I used to drive my modified VW GTI around a track and that thing handled like it was on rails.

In total how much did you spend? I have a G37 stock at the moment with just a muffler and resonator delete. What would you recommend?
Tuning is definitely worth every penny makes the car more fun adds extra's to the car mine is Uprev tuned with 5 maps mine makes 325 wheel HP full bolt on's full exhaust. I had mine tuned at R/T Tuning only good place close to my area.

If in North Carolina go to RZG Motorsports (New Bern) and get a tune from Ray or National Speed (Wilmington) and get tuned by Vlad. These boys are some of the best in tuning!

Gas shouldn’t be a problem on the list. It’s a sports car what do you expect. If you having fun then that’s all that matters. But update us on RELIABILITY when you post another video. I’m getting tuned soon too.

I was reading that some of G's and Z's brings that vq35hr is stronger than a vq35de and can produce more hp after tuning

Do a comparison between the 300 when you tune it and Brittany tuned and see what the difference is
RWHP readings also depends on the brand of the Dyno FWIW It cost me a grand out the door, 314 on a mustang Dyno.

Danny Z it’s still not as much fun as my 350 with the turbos but way more reliable, it’s my everyday work done by Pros tuning in Palm Beach.

Should mention that for those that never had a tuning experience and is just looking 15-20hp gain with oem parts with a tune, it’s definitely not worth the money. If your going to tune, make sure you have all recommended piping sizing that your tuner mention for best results, other wise your just going to be disappointed.
100% would recommend tuning stock cars. Absolutely worth it. Cost vs gains it's one of if not the biggest gain for $ amount of any NA mod on these cars

Long tube headers will make the most power if you go that route. But, seriously, get rid of everything stock on the exhaust, 3” intake, posted upper/lower intake manifold, and EPS throttle bodies.... 350hp+ all day.

My Z is currently on a $500 tune, no alternate maps, where he tuned my car by driving on roads, no dyno. The tune is... alright. He basically had his laptop pluged into my car and was making changes live. The tuner I wanna go to is gonna be around $850 but it's gonna be dyno tuned w/ more power. It's gonna be... expensive... definitely a 2020 goal lol.

@@SunShine-pn1gl ART pipes do sound good , i've never had them but if your gunna get headers later on your options will be limited if u want to say with the ART pipes and the sound will change to a more exotic sound as with long tubes as well so i more depends on your future plan on the car.

I have catless test pipes and was going to tune it to get rid of it for emissions but after watching the video danny still has his check engine light. Any info would help thanks!
Shift yes a tuner can get rid of it, not sure why Danny still has his
@@draektears2794 depends on the code it it's something he should delete or fix... Or it it was mentioned prior to flashing. Battery was lose on his car so we didn't have any codes present when I connected after fixing the battery cables.
Disconnect your battery for 3 hours then turn it back on to get rid of it, it will disappear for about 5 hours

How much did limpmode tuning charge you?
700 for 5 maps street tuned. 799.99 for remote with Uprev cable license and arc... Basic tuning options are less. Limpmodetuning.com for prices. It depends on mods and fuel used
