You can see the little details that separate the very good from the excellent. Lewis had way too many villagers far from the closest defensive structure, with no escape route, and without an army to defend them. He also had accidentally opened the woodline on the bottom corner. Contrast that with The Viper, who also had an open base but kept all his villagers tightly close to his TCs and had a bit of army behind to delay any attacks. Of course I comment this as someone who would get destroyed in three minutes by any player that you cast on this channel.
I agree. I would also argue that Keshik's gold generation in the late game is anything but important. If you are out of gold, training Keshiks is a terrible idea. The trickle of gold generated by a raiding Keshik will never pay back the gold you spent to train him in the first place. Keshiks are not immortal. In fact they perish pretty quickly under fire from a castle or town center.
Spoiler block ❤
The great game begins again
Can we appreciate Viper for defeating BERBERS (having two archer counter units) with Cav archers which is very rare. What a bonkers game :O

Haha
"Walls will just die" - Lewis, probably

so much fun; love the casting - thanks!
Hell yeah
Lewis could have walked out the open wood line at the end and stone walled behind. Could have saved him a lot of grief.
I guess it is time to charge food for cav archers))) at least 10 or 15. 70hp unit, zero food costs kind a op
I find that advance players happens to often not walling up their base, just like Lewis....maybe over confident?
gg wp
Viper and my favorite fish condiment, is a easy choice
Haha
Lemony game!
Lewis blewIt.
I would argue wood and food in early feudal are more valuable than especially a smaller quantity of gold.
