what a breath of fresh air this episode was. fun, sophisticated people who enjoyed the spirit of fun competition, were classy and didn't say nasty things about each other. They seemed to genuinely care about one another. Fabulous. I wish all the shows were like this one.
Absolutely lovely bunch! I’ve never watched an episode where the people are so wholesome & genuinely wants to like each other’s foods. All of them did a terrific job, although their demographics are poles apart. Amazing episode! Thanks for uploading 😊
When she'd been doing it for a bit my hubby popped his head in and said my god how irritating, funny thing was I was literally thinking the same thing 😂
Would love some come dine with me cops Vs cops, fire brigade vs fire brigade, chefs vs chefs episodes. Just for fun and obviously for charity. Ex Gordon Ramsay vs Jamie Oliver, to see if they can cook and host as the perfect come dine with me person.
OMG, how does Simon put up with Dawn....! Why would anybody want a relationship like that..maybe just habit, poor guy, not equals, but he is downtrodden and she thinks she is being funny by mocking him and domineering him. Shame
It's because Simon has not watched enough true crime and forensics. Poor Chap has no clue of how to get rid of her. Yes, I know I'm going to H*ll for that one. Oh well at least most of the fun folks will be there. Religious folks please don't attack, I say all of that in Jest. Yes I believe in God(Roman Catholic let's the jokes ensue. Bless me Father for I am about to sin and all that jazz). I can still be a believer and have a sarcastic sense of humor. Happy New Year Everyone. Let's give 2024 a go.
Exactly that old bird she wasn’t very nice to her husband(Simon). I’m assuming that she was raised watching her mother treat her father like that so she just thinks that’s a normal way of life and it’s pretty sad. Hopefully she has changed because I’m sure this is quite the old episode as I don’t think anybody should have to live a life being treated like that and die that way as he seems like a really nice bloke.
When they mentioned another house in another country, my eyes about rolled out of my head. And can Ayesha not even help with the plating up? She’s clearly not the worst person in the group, but that bugged me.
I think unbaked is more common in the uk. Baked more typical of American style. I like both but grew up with unbaked cold set and really like it. Just different
Stephen and Aeysha were winners in my book. At first i thought they'd be snobby and look down their noses at the others but they turned out to be the most open and considerate couple of the 3. I especially loved how Aeysha put the other two women in their place without offending them when they both " jokingly" probed for prenup information under the guise of joking. Neither man was interested in the topic. What's that tell you.
The first couple.... make me _Very!_ uncomfortable. She's absolutely _Terrible_ to him.😳 I don't think I could be in their company for long - - or I'd say something to her I would likely regret.
Aisha doesn't do anything at all. she's nice but she really hasn't done anything. not my type of food except the tacos. and I thought it very impertinent to wash the apples that had fallen on the ground, and yet serve them to the guests. I would never have done that, I would have come up with something else, but I wouldn't give my guests apples that fell on the floor
In the US we use forks more like a shovel the rest of the world use forks correctly. To spear the food using the tines of the fork. We are always complimented on our correct use of forks.
@@glenncurley680 better believe it! Americans use their forks like a shovel. In the rest of the fork and knife using world, we use the fork in our left hand, prongs turned down, knife in your right hand, and you use the knife to push bite sized food onto the back of the fork.
@@CeravvvEgancorrect - same on New Zealand as a place colonised by the British. Not everyone was raised to use them this way though. I don’t really think there’s any right or wrong
For the simple fact that the young guy couldn’t bother to dress up nice for his dinner night instead just word basic T-shirt would be the exact reason why I would cut many points off of their score.
Ok. So you only really speak two languages fluently. All the rest are rusty. So don't you tell people that you speak several languages because you sound pretentious lawyer lady. 😅
Dave Lamb has been presenting this programme for 19 years and he's the reason why I (and the majority of viewers) watch this show. Without Dave Lamb the show would be seriously boring. It would be like watching Big Brother. I rest my case.
I saw the first CDWM last year and the narrating was completely different in character. Factual, merely an accompaniment to cooks & diners on their best behavior, it was a bore. Dave Lamb MADE this show by getting louder & more outrageous and calling the particioants out on their quirks & behavior. He changed the entire nature of the show & turned it into a hit.

24:04, what an idiot.
I watch these episodes mostly for the commentator. Love his quips. Thanks for the upload.
Actually, I find him annoying.
One of the best groups I have even seen! Thank you for sharing
I thoroughly enjoyed Darren and Sian's sophistication and appreciation that went into their host's dining efforts. Lovely couple.
I really like how content and calm the posh couple are for some reason❤
the narrator gets me every time👌👌😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
She reminds me of Hyacinth!

The comments Dave Lamb made during the blender moment was😂😂😂
Awesome apple peeling! Lol Thanks for uploading whole programmes 🙂
Darren is a very charming young man 😊 but the first dessert 🧁 apple cream pudding wooooow yum 😋
My dog cocked his head sideways when she started singing “mamamamamamamamamamamama!” 😂
When she'd been doing it for a bit my hubby popped his head in and said my god how irritating, funny thing was I was literally thinking the same thing 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Stephen and Ayesha's food looked so much better...and lovely stories to go with it. Spinet playing was awesome.
Thank you for the upload. Love CDWM

And this is why men cheat. She has no respect for him as a man.
Rsmsay would kick Oliver's ass in a cooking competition. There is no comparison. 😅
Thanks for the upload 😊
They such nice friendly couples...all three couples had a great night....great episode 🎉🎉🎉
Lovely episode 🎉
OMG, how does Simon put up with Dawn....! Why would anybody want a relationship like that..maybe just habit, poor guy, not equals, but he is downtrodden and she thinks she is being funny by mocking him and domineering him. Shame
In Australia there's a law now where if a male partner acts like that it's considered domestic violence.
I agree Dawn appears to be so toxic. If she's calling Simon a twit on TV, I can only imagine what she calls him in the privacy of their home.
And he is such a cool guy!

She's horrid and if he wasn't so subservient he'd leave her. I would, in a heart beat.
Love this showwwwwwww
I grew up watching it and now I enjoy hosting dinner parties
"Both Steven and Aisha attended Cambridge University". 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
so that lady who said she was pescatarian yet eats Lamb ? not really pescatarian then are you
43:29 I was really hoping they were going to score a 16.
Its the commentator about the blender vs their qualifications for me😂😂😂
Poor Simon
I agree.

"O-M-flippin-G!" 😂😂😂🎉❤
We do this during the week in my neighborhood . We eat on the patio and often children come
Why is Steve cooking in a long sleeved shirt?😵💫🤨🙄
When they mentioned another house in another country, my eyes about rolled out of my head. And can Ayesha not even help with the plating up? She’s clearly not the worst person in the group, but that bugged me.
Does NO ONE make a cheesecake in the oven? It's much better than any refrigerated pie.
I think unbaked is more common in the uk. Baked more typical of American style. I like both but grew up with unbaked cold set and really like it. Just different
New York cheesecake cake rules. Refrigerated cheesecake is easier, faster, cheaper but can't compare in flavor & texture to baked.
Much much better done in the oven.

Darren is lovely!!!
My God how did than poor man survive 27 years with Dawn? 😮
Darren is gorgeous
😅 Simon
Killed me Wen he met the star man😂😂😂😂😂
Dawn is insufferable. Poor husband is a doormat!
His own fault for enabling her instead of leaving for good.
He seems to like her.
They were a lovely bunch🎉except Dawn she’s intolerable.
She treats him just awful but then he sticks around so..........He could leave.
There’s a starman waiting in the sky.
The first couple.... make me _Very!_ uncomfortable. She's absolutely _Terrible_ to him.😳 I don't think I could be in their company for long - - or I'd say something to her I would likely regret.
I wouldnt regret a single syllable.
Anyone fact checked the lawyers comment about being responsible for prenups holding weight in the uk ?
Ayesha Vardags. You can look her up

Absolutely nothing , she was just watching the husband do all the work
I hate fish but give me a SMOKED COD LOIN any day and i’ll devour it! The most delicious tasting fish by a mile.
Simon would be lost without Dawn.
They are both rubes.
Stephen and Ayesha are my kind of people --- you can keep the others
Floor pie !
Nice couples ❤they should get another night
did anyone notice they're Steph and Ayesha like the Currys ??
Hang on the girl who doesn't like fruit in desserts is making a lime pie, lime is a fruit love 😂
Hipsters. Hahahahaha.
The last couple are very strange lol
I think Dawn is joking .
Why did Dawn and Simon go into this competition? She is a bee and he is an oaf. He doesn’t like anything.
Siams grey hair makes her look 20 years older than she is.
I think she looks beautiful.
Dawn is absolutely NOT funny. Wish was there to shut her up once and for all.
Why in these shows do they always eat with the fork upside down?
Forks are curved upwards for a reason. Would you do that with a spoon?
In the US we use forks more like a shovel the rest of the world use forks correctly. To spear the food using the tines of the fork. We are always complimented on our correct use of forks.
You are meant to use a fork like that, as the first response said. Americans can’t and don’t use cutlery properly.
@@CeravvvEgan I don't believe you! Using a fork has nothing to do with America!

Pretentious, insecure Prats! Save us all from a Cambridge education!!!
I don't like this woman Aysha..I don't know why but I don't like her and for me she is looking older than her partner , she looks like his mother

A bit jelly?
The "young" blonde lady was abdolutely horrible in this episode. Everything was jst "blend"..
Bland* like your comment...
That lawyer was so fake and annoying and who recycles apples on the FLOOR??? She is so insecure.
She is way to old for this dude she looks like his mother
The announcer is sooo annoying. Why is he continuously yelling?

@@miladydewinter7770agree totally with you. Dave Lamb is a legend
REMOVE YOURSELF IMMEDIATELY! The presenter is one of the best, parts of the show.
How dare you disrespect this great man like this?? Without his commentary, there wouldn't be a show at all. Begone pleb!

I thought they didn’t like fruity desserts ? What’s a lime ? 🤯🫣
Citrus is a bit different to something with fill on chunks of fruit though - I’m guessing that’s what they meant
Citrus.
No worries Luv. I lost the plot ages ago. Jump on in the waters warm. I prefer those who are a bit mad. Keeps things from getting overly boring.🫶🏼
