- The Cygnet Grand Sniper rod pod is the best rod pod I have ever seen. Its is not a cheap rod pod but its worth every penny. the Cygnet Grand Sniper is VERY versatile and very stable. It take 12 lbs of force on your mainline to make this pod move when laying on bare pavement. On grass, the rod butt rest fail before the rod pod will tip over. You can fish the Cygnet Grand Sniper with your rod tips straight up, down in the water, or anything in between. There are four sets of adjustable legs and the rod pod comes with butt rests and buzzer bars and a great carrying case.
