Be careful as it's very difficult to both open and shut. When shutting if it's not seeming to work and fold completely hold with one foot supporting and play with black pin till fully closed.
Opening and closing is so difficult the black pin that's supposed to stay open doesn't stay in place so I have to try and hold it while I fold it it's a real pain I have the Total Gym from Costco
The video does not make it clear how the black pin is prevented from snapping back into the stop hole. The black knob is a spring-loaded pin and not designed to lock in place once pulled out. The following steps will allow you to more easily fold and put away your unit. I do this every day to make space in my otherwise crowded exercise area. First, place yourself on the right side of the unit, where the black pin is located, and NOT the left side as shown in the video. This position places you in the best position to raise and fold the unit while working with the black pin. Second, place your left hand on the bottom support ahead of the slant board (in front of the hinge) and your right hand on the black pin. Third, as you pull the black pin towards you (dis-engaging it from the stop hole), use your left hand to slightly raise the unit at the middle hinge location. The adjustable vertical support will move forward as well. This will move the stop hole out of alignment with the black pin and prevent it from snapping back into the stop hole. Fourth, you can now release your hold on the black pin and use BOTH hands to raise and continue folding the unit, as shown in the video. I hope this helps.
would throw it away but it won't fit in the large trash bin made for a 10 unit apartment building pulling the black knob all the way out doesn't work. i'll try removing it with a wrench. once this piece of trash is folded, into the dumpster it goes. that worked.......into the trash it goes
Great, going to try it without another person lifting at the other end to move it! Update: The bottom black pin goes back into the hole, preventing it from move into the folding up. I did tape it so it stay open during the fold up with duct tape.
When it is part way folded, instead of pulling on the top half, try pulling on the bottom half. I found the top section pulls up maybe 50% of the way and then the other half pulls up the rest of the way. I didn't need to do anything with the black pin after I it began folding at the start.

Mine falls apart when I try closing it. I think its telling me subconsciously to keep it open and use it.

Wondering if it will fit in my RV need the Folded Size please so I know if I can store it between Parks
The FIT or XLS should store nicely to travel in a motor home.
How do you keep the black knot all the way out???? It’s impossibly for me, or maybe my machine has a misfunction?
