I'm Algerian and heavily into Algerian/Tunisian rap. In my opinion, the Moroccan rap scene is notably more advanced than all of the MENA region, especially in terms of musicality, flow, lyrics, and particularly the quality of music videos.

nowadays the moroccan rap scene unfortunately is represented by guys like this that think changing your hairstyle and saying the Nword makes you a rapper while legends of the moroccan rap industry like Don Bigg ,Muslim,H-Kayne DJKey.. that built the Rap Movement yet don't get enough credit and are not even mentionned.. Shameful

Arabic darija defines you and a smal number of Moroccans not the majority cause 70% of Moroccan populations are Amazigh while the small rest persentage is about Moroccans who speak arabic darija, half of them are amazigh but darijalized.
darijalized xD, bro, the darija grammar is actually Amazigh's grammar, "ghanshed tri9" = rad amzgh agharas, while sa omsiko tari9 has no meaning, people in Agadir speak darija. darija has nothing to do with arabs, politics or identity get over yourself. amazighs have been Arabized yes, and that's the end of it
@@SoufianeNassef as a matter of fact, Drija is not the dialect of the standard Arabic but rather a mixture of tamazight, French, Spanish and more. It is not convenient to attribute The Arabic title to whoever speaks Drija. Barely a single Arabic word is found in Darija. Most of darija's lexicons are associated with the languages I have mentioned before.
Personally speaking, I view Darija as a linguafranca that is used among morrocan inhabitants mainly the Amazighs and the unknown-origins to achieve a sort of understanding when it comes to trade exchanges.
