ooh thanks for your review! Really liked the new look from the outside but not smooth zippers is a dealbreaker when there's a baby involved!!! It's the reason why I went for the Jujube bags in the first place. I guess I'll stick with my BRB bag.
You are so welcome. I agree. I like the Jujube zipper but totally HATE these rough ones. Had I known, I would not have bought them!! Vera Bradley did these kind of zippers for a while and everyone hated them too. Not as excited about trying new things now 🙃

Fair point and I do definitely like pickpocket-proof wherever possible. However, since the preponderance of my use would not be in at risk areas, I’d still prefer the normal smooth zippers and would use a lockable bag when/where needed instead.
I think the new logo is trying to be like the Mina Baie bags.
Interesting. You could be on to something. I’m not familiar with Mina Baie bags but definitely can see the connection to upclass bag brands.
Wow, that is really too bad about jujube. I loved the original fabric and smooth zippers. A few months ago I bought some be quick to use as small purses, ugh, I HATE the new fabric and metal zippers! I feel like a lot of companies are cutting corners to save cost but the price keeps going up. I see the same quality issues with Lug recently :( sad.

I am a HUGE fan of smooth zippers!!! I am a giant fan of Lug largely because they have the best hardware! I mean I like the bags and the patterns are okay, some really great. But I really LOVE the hardware and how smooth and reliable those zippers are!! I’m not a fan of the new Jujube collection and will be much more careful in the future about jumping in blindly to try the new stuff. Lesson learned. Still, they are good bags despite their faults so I will eventually get my monies worth out of them. The metal zippers though, UGH, I won’t EVER buy those again!!!!!

You are very welcome Rebekah. I am many things, but honest is at the very top of my list. I am sad to see and share non-positive reviews, but I prefer to be totally open and frank about what I present. I do still like more than dislike the bags and will use them since I’m “stuck” with them. I know that I will enjoy them despite the things I dislike. I may even end up getting more use out of them since I’m not as concerned about protecting and preserving them since they aren’t favorites from my collection? Well, we’ll see how it goes. Supposedly Jujube heard TONS of feedback prior to me even purchasing, I just hadn’t seen it and wanted to try for myself anyways. Mixed results and sad to have spent so much money, but otherwise still good bags overall. Thanks for taking the time to watch and to comment.
