These are not test models, these are test ride bikes. Test models are never made available to general public for riding. I understand your affection towards the brand and I echo you that Karizma is a great value for money bike, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t discuss about the shortcomings. I hope you understand.🙏🏼
Looks like these are pre prod models being used in media drives.. look at the temporary regd number series... tons of youtube posts were with this series.. checked one in vayaratha hero, marathalli and the vehicle was driven 800+kms when it was arrived in showroom. it had also quality issues like uneven panel gaps
No doubt it’s exceptional value for money. Moreover, like any other Hero product the Karizma comes with a 5 year engine warranty which brings a lot of value.
About the power delivery yes the delivery is quite linear lower down but push it beyond 6k and it starts pulling very aggresively is what i have felt. Also one reason is the calm exhaust note pn the Suzuki. Because the exhaust note doesnt change much in the lower rpm so it creates a false perception that it isnt pulling. This is what i have felt while riding it.
The gears in Suzuki are quite tall and that’s what gives the feel of bike taking time to reach higher speeds. The Karizma is quicker of the line and reaches higher speeds faster, however, the Suzuki attains better top speed of above 150kmph and stays calm even then.
Im 21 and getting the karizma on my birthday in November. Should I put a transparent wrap to protect it from minor scratches? I and very emotional about bikes since my father owns a cbr 250 and it's in really good condition, so I want to protect mine too.
First of all, convey my 🙏🏼 to your dad. I’ve owned a CBR 250R in the past and that bike for me is a benchmark when it comes to single cylinder quarter litre bikes. Regarding the PPF coating on Karizma, yet it’s definitely advisable as not only it protects the plastic parts from stones and tiny pebbles that get thrown while riding, it will also protect in case of minor falls. It may cost you between 5000-9000 ₹ but it’s worth every penny. I hope this helps buddy. Ride hard and ride safe.
6:51 No way the Karizma is faster than the Gixxer, it might feel faster the way the power is delivered(higher revving engine) but I don’t see any instance wherein the Karizma wins in a performance shootout.
@stupyshark9632 There are two reasons: 1. Getting the XMR for a few hours to take it out of city limits is really difficult coz there are just too many people waiting for test rides in the dealerships. 2. Finding an empty road to go beyond allowed speed limits, around Bangalore is just getting impossible. There are countless vehicles everywhere. 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
What about the millage difference and engine refinement, does Hero feels smoother than Gixxer? And also, as Hero is cheaper to maintain due to low cost spares, but which one would be more pocket friendly, as Gixxer is also low maintenance bike? Please suggest 🙏
Both an equally smooth. Suzuki has a character up top while Karizma is in the mid range. Part wise, yeah the Hero will be slightly cheaper to maintain due to lower cost of spares. However, Suzuki internals will have a significantly better life overall. The biggest advantage of the Karizma is the service network reach, which is so huge that literally no other manufacturer can match. I believe the Suzuki should be more pocket friendly on a long run as that engine and platform has been tried and tested for years now. Karizma being a new offering still has a lot of ground to cover.
The Suzuki definitely feels like a better put together product compared to Hero. The Karizma lacks the quality and finesse of the Japanese rivals. I’d personally prefer the Suzuki
Karizma being a flagship product from Hero is worth buying. They have tested the bike thoroughly and the best part is it comes with a 5 year warranty on the engine. If I were to buy a new bike, I’d pick the Karizma right now, considering there’s nothing else on the market that offers such incredible value for money.
@devanshrathore9112 Well bullet is a different type of bike. Only if you like retro design and not an aggressive rider, go with the bullet. But if you want performance, then XMR is currently one of the best options at an incredibly good price point.
Who told you they will deliver test ride bike to you? Every media bike has already reached showrooms for test ride. And every showroom has ONLY ONE test ride bike. Why would they keep giving different bikes for test ride?
Brother, Suggest me a bike under 2.5lakh on road for daily commute. Preference- Smooth Comfortable Nice looking And one more question, Is it worth buying sf250 in 2024?
I was about to suggest you to check the Gixxer SF250, considering it looks really good, the engine is literally bulletproof and overall quality and affordable maintenance.
On papers yes, but the torque is more usable on the Karizma, than the Gixxer. You can pick the Karizma from as low as 35kmph on 6th gear without any hesitation.
These are not the actual selling units these are pre production units which were used during launch event you can check the new units all the flaws highlighted here are addressed. I have booked mine XMR
Here’s my argument: An unfinished product will never be given to consumer/potential buyers for test ride because that can change the decision of the buyer which in turn can make or break the product. These are not pre-production units. However, it is possible that hero might fix these issues by the time deliveries begin.
Regardless, XMR is an amazingly lovely bike with a brilliant chassis and fabulous engine. I am 200% sure you are going to enjoy your time with the bike to the fullest. Congratulations on the booking, buddy.

Aww… you seem to be a Hero fanboy, blinded by it. I don’t care how other sugarcoat things with multiple takes to capture each scene. I pick bikes as a potential buyer would and I don’t hesitate pointing out flaws. Should have you watched the video, you’d have seen the specs on the screen very clearly, which you didn’t. I don’t own a Suzuki but I own a Hero Xmpulse and have made multiple buy the Xpulse. It’s good so I appreciate it, if something isn’t, I don’t. Just to please a few brand lovers like yourself, I won’t lie on a video.
Peace and have a good time. 🙏🏼
@@FTRClub im neither a hero fan boy nor a hero owner. Just pointed out your hypocrisy and flaws in your review...if at all it can be called a review. If you were indeed reviewing as a potential buyer you would have never picked suzuki over hero with almost same or outdated specs by paying 30K extra...or else you are a jap fan boy with a budget of xpulse.
Suzuki good with its price ,they can easily made the expensive way ,xmr made in india come with same price with sf250 made in japan
Video sponsored by Suzuki😅
And what makes you think so? Or were you expecting me to sugarcoat everything about the Hero the way others are doing?
