It's nearly 100 degrees on NYC subway platforms, so we figured we might as well embrace the heat and walk around in towels.
Southeast Asia can be so humid you'll immediately start sweating by standing outside. In the shade.
***** You have a dry heat. It's much nicer than our humid heat even at temperatures 20 degrees higher. Also, the P word is rude and probably not necessary for a discussion of weather.

The fact that you got several New Yorkers to join you, thinking it was real, is a testament to the genius of your troupe. You all kept straight faces during your performance which is key. Hats off to you all.

They do this flashmobby kind of things and if it's not fun it's mostly benneficial to someone. The wedding party and the birtday of 'ted I think' weren't planned but I think they both made for real and lovely experiences.

I love the ones they do where it interacts with the people. Not just a flash mob, but actually interacting with the strangers.

That was so tiny bit of water they poored on the stones in the sauna... And i think heat was like 60C, pff...it should be 90C

If, as Improv Everywhere has stated, they did not used licensed therapists, they have broken the law. I can only hope that the stones were not actually hot, because that would be massively dangerous and a huge liability for someone pretending to be a therapist while having no training or insurance. If you were only "working on" other actors, it would be fine. But taking on unsuspecting clients, even for free or as a joke, is unethical.
Are there really no actual licensed massage therapists out there to ask to join you for an improv?
I want to add that I have seen a large number of people with first degree burns from poorly applied or overheated hot stones. I cannot believe that you asked someone to try this who is unlicensed, untrained, and uninsured. Even if someone faked an injury, they could take you to court.

I wonder if it's just me, but I feel as though multi-people improvs just aren't that exciting anymore. It's been done so much in our society that I would be hard pressed to be impressed.

Even for a Hong Konger, 95°C is hot, but it would probably feel much cooler because it'd be less humid in NYC.
I've been to Hong Kong and it's probably a little more humid than NYC, but not by much.

I want to be part of this let's do another Subway spa when the weather gets warm again, how about it? If Colby is still a problem we'll just have plenty of masks around. I think we can even offer some body work services like in the chair, just have people sign waivers first and don't charge although I suppose tipping is probably allowed. What do y'all think?

This is spot-on about NY$ity subway platforms. Tip: Always stay close to the subway platform entrance. You'll get a little breeze as it comes down the staircase.
Just dumb...i would have ran through taking peoples towels and kept going. Then there would just be a whole bunch of dumb naked people. It also would have made the video entertaining.

You need to try this in the 14th Street-Union Square station. That station really gets overheated. At times it feels like you're standing in a blast furnace.
