Take a note that kelowna 205G0 is a non factory mix. Original factory kelowna 205G0 is marked as 205GD0. It's kinda important since mixes are supposed to be less reliable

@@jacktkiller6104 thank you! don't need to use only htv. You could find 0,3mm film made of other materials, such as eva, poron, pc,.... just get whatever looks good to you.

if you asked me 2 years ago, i would tell you to remove factory lube and re-lube them. But now you shouldn't. It will take you so much time and effort. Just use them with factory lube or buy other switches. Nowaday, there are so many smooth stock switches in the market (such as switches from HMX, Bsun,...)
@@Sebastiancornelius37 At first I added the new lube on the factory lube, but then I realized that it's not really smooth. So I decided to clean all the factory lubricants and continued lubing myself. Hope you have fun with it!

@@kittykatmechkey tiếc nhỉ, nếu bạn ko phiền có thể chỉ giúp mình, cách làm bàn phím cơ, nhưng gõ êm, ko ồn được ko ( vì mình đang phải trọ chung với bạn ). mình mới chỉ biết phải lube phím, dùng red switch, lót foam bàn phím, ngoài ra chưa biết gì hơn. và mức giá tối thiểu thì khoảng bao nhiêu ạ, hiện tại mình đang để dư 2tr để mua bàn phím cơ.
@@liquidnavi3694 trước mình dùng red switch gắn thêm o-ring cũng êm lắm nhưng đến đêm khuya thì vẫn nghe rõ. Tốt nhất nên mua bàn phím dạng hotswap red sw thử trước xem sao nếu ok rồi thì thôi. Nếu cần thì có thể thay switch dạng silent như outemu silent. Còn muốn dòng cao cấp hơn nữa là alpaca silent (mình đang dùng loại này)

@@kittykatmechkey à chị ơi. Cho e hỏi như con Fl MK750 stab stock ngon rồi, có thể e về lube thêm... Nhưng mấy cái switch dưới mấy con stab nên mua loại gì cho nó ổn nhất nhỉ? Vì ít nút nên cho ngân sách quang 10k/1 switch dưới mấy con stab. Mấy phím bình thường thì choi Gateron Milky Yellow Pro ạ.

There is no such thing as original factory Kelowna 205g0 or 205gD0, Kelowna creates nothing. They sell repackaged Krytox directly from Stephen Miller.

because most of the contact points inside the switch are between stem and bottom housing

with pre-lubed switches, you should clean it before lubing the new lubricant

i just lubed on top, it makes literally very little difference because factory lube is very thin
Hi, did you remove the factory lubing from the milky yellows before manually lubing them? Even if you didn't would you recommend doing so?

e tháo ra rồi rửa bằng nước rửa chén ấy, nếu có bột baking soda thì pha thêm vào. Rồi để thật khô nới lube lại nhé

yes, it depends on how much you type on your keyboard each day. I think we can re-lube the switches after 1 year

nó là dạng linear âm trầm chứ ko phải silent b. Nếu so với red thì mình thấy loại này âm và cảm giác gõ đều hơn hẳn

the difference is toooo small to spend so much time to lubing and etc.
the difference is not only in the sound, but also the typing feel. you can feel and hear the difference obviously in real life

nên làm sạch lớp pre-lube thỉ tốt hơn e nhé. Chị dùng nước rửa chén pha loãng và cho 1 ít baking soda nữa
