I grew up same as Billy, dragged to Catholic church every week and hating it.. never knowing God while sitting there week after week, never hearing the gospel preached, never knowing Jesus or even hearing his name. What wonderful message!! The whole sum of the human knowledge cannot be even compared to a single small drop of the spiritual knowledge of God. Whereas the first is transitory, the second is everlasting. Billy Graham's history of conversion shows us that in order to become a powerful God's messenger, you only need the real and true willingness to make God's will. From a simple boy who didn't even care about church stuff, to one of the greatest preachers of Christianism history.
He is certainly one of the best I have heard. Some others compared to him appear to be in the entertainment industry. I grew up same as Billy, dragged to Catholic church every week and hating it.. never knowing God while sitting there week after week, never hearing the gospel preached, never knowing Jesus or even hearing his name. This is the first time I've heard a preacher describe their own experience identical to mine.. What wonderful message!! The whole sum of the human knowledge cannot be even compared to a single small drop of the spiritual knowledge of God. Whereas the first is transitory, the second is everlasting. He is certainly one of the best I have heard. Some others compared to him appear to be in the entertainment industry. I wish they'd actually show the prayer Franklin Graham talks about at the end of each of these classics. I've yet to see a single one with the prayer from his father and I would so love to hear Billy Graham praying in addition to his sermons.
