Guys, we are over analysing things. From what I can see, complacency by the players. They stopped pressing. They stopped winning balls in opposition half. And individual mistakes at the back sum up the game.

Any semi-decent manager has figured out the blueprint to beat Spurs. Sit back, bend don’t break too much and let Spurs run out of gas and then start splitting us apart with pacey wing play and balls over the top. His stubbornness and refusal to tweak and adapt is going to get him fired.

Ange is to blame 100% for this.
I would like to ask Ange does he do his homework on the opposition because his tactic is always the same no matter who we play and has no in game management, his subs are like for like and will not change formation, we are crying out for 3 at the back. the fans are divided on Ange and a lot are turning against him and is only a matter of time before he loses the dressing room.

We need to just admit that this isn’t going to work. We’ll beat poor Teams and lose to decent teams that can change things up mid game to disrupt us. We have this fear of changing the manager again and having to start all over, but the whole idea of the structure above the manager is to negate that? The Team that just worked us out in 45 mins then embarrassed us are the perfect example of that. They Transistion managers seamlessly by appointing similar stylistic coaches. In game management is a huge part of Football and all the better Teams can and DO do it............Ange won’t and he has to fall on that sword for me.

At HT I thought we had genuinely turned a corner this season. First half today, like United, we played so well and looked solid. 2nd half showed we haven’t turned a corner.
Crazy how 45 minutes of footage can flip a narrative but to be so in control and to collapse to that magnitude is not something you can just chalk off.
Our worst start to a prem campaign for about 15 years and that’s off the back of a woefully 2nd half of last season. When you look at the bigger picture it is very poor and highlights, at the moment, Ange is out of his depth.
We can’t get rid of him but his comments pre game when the interviewer asked how will he control the game instead of having it wide open, he said he wanted it wide open as it’ll be a good watch, no manager who wins anything in the top leagues has a mindset like that and there’s a reason why. This isn’t Scotland or Japan, you can’t ignore defending.

I do think it’s time the youngsters were given a (Premier League) start - Ange can be a bit stubborn and I think Moore should be in for Werner. The Last Word on Spurs talks about the right topics....BUT, almost ALL the suggestions will NOT happen, if Levy is still the Chairman. If you are not doing ANYTHING to pressure Levy, eg. Join the Levy Out chorus, with the followers or subscribers....it may happen. Otherwise, don't moan or complain what you are seeing. Levy will not sign any player can improve the team instantly, he will rather sign players who are young and cheaper so that the chance of him making profits are higher....He is NOT interested in winning trophies......

I have accepted we are not good enough up front, so won't harp on... we need quality players up front... and we have who we have now
we keep saying 5 wins... fact yes, but lets be totally honest.....
Coventry - lucky as fuck... avoided a catastrophe...
    Brentford - good win
Carrier Bags - say no more... the farmers could of scored multiple goals.... our defence exposed again ...score does not tell the story at all... but lets ignore that......
Utd - a big name, but everyone is beating them.. and they had 10 men in the end.... but we are hero's.... defence expose again but lucky utd were shit..
Ferencvárosi - more farmers and could of had goals... defence exposed again..... our young blood blah blah... it could have easily been a different conversation.. but heads in the sand folks...
if you are going to critic the post... please use facts.... not dreams....
I see progress, but I am not naive... we are taking baby steps....
Todays loss, is frankly embarrassing, worst of the lot....

I really don't know why you guys keep seeing something in Pedro Porro .
I see him as a poor defender who has a major flaw in his game.
I don't care what game you watch it is rinse and repeat with him and it is always the same.
In most instances Brennan Johnson does the donkey work for him when the defense is set.
The reason why Pedro Porro is a POOR DEFENDER IS BECAUSE HE CONSTANTY FIND HIMSELF OUT OF POSITION BECAUSE HE LIKES TO ATTACK.
If you watch him , this is what happens.
The winger gets the ball and Porro chases back keeping himself between the player and the goal , rarely making that player play the ball .
Porro keeps backing away hoping the player will stuff up the cross .
Porro keeps backing away to the point if the winger does not cross the ball he ends up in the box having to defend the last pass in the box.
It happens every single game , rinse and repeat and the opposition have him worked out.
A good defender will find himself a metre or two off the shoulder of the winger , cutting off the ball before it gets to the wing or in a position to tackle the winger before he advances .
Not Porro though, he turns and chases, turns and chases you will rarely see him marking up on the wing.

Pat I agree with your point that timo isn't good enough, but atm he is only playing because Sonny & Odobert are injured, and Moore isn't ready yet,
So his hands are tied in the LW position.
I think Timo stretches teams really well and beats his man well but end product are lacking, like we've seen against Utd, Ferencevious and Today against Brighton

lack of leadership on the pitch
Romero is not a leader, nor is Maddison
Son is not the player to give you BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER in the 2014 World Cup Final 💪
    lack of MENTALITY is obvious
who is the BEAST?? Kulu the only one with the mentality but he needs help...
it's not "in the DNA of the club" - that's loser talk, need to lift and transcend, fk that as a narrative
folding in on the manager isn't the answer, they were set up perfectly to win the game
Tottenham are 15 months into a rebuild that was meant to happen at the end of 2019 - buckle up ffs
    COYS 🤍💙🤍

    • @radstevens
      @radstevens День тому

      bagging Timo is redundant
IT WASN'T HIS FAULT THE TEAM COLLAPSED IN THE SECOND HALF ffs
he can't finish and is playing because Son, Richardson and Odobert are injured but don't let facts get in the way
yet his effort and industriousness exceeds many others taking on his man, keeping the width and getting good balls in the box...he's not Ronaldo (#9), get over it. Mikey Moore isn't starting at Brighton, such misguided thinking.
Scenario is the same as the Fulham game last year after the Villa thumping...players coasting and getting ahead of themselves, forgetting about doing the work needed to secure 3 points #pathetic
of course Russ will play the patronising snob and call the 25 year manager 'naive' because he's from Australia while saying the club hasn't recruited well and nominating Romero as a culprit (he's been shit all year) while yet again Patty (I want the manager to succeed but I am super negative about everything all the time) will bag the manager because he's unhappy with the perceived lack of progress!
does anyone on here analyse their own contradictions when talking drivel? talk about hot takes and lack of coherence - maybe Ange has lost the players like Ricky was telling us 3 weeks ago?!

    • @radstevens
