The "what is love" mv is actually full of movie references. They recreated some very iconic scenes from movies like "Romeo and Juliet", "la la land" or "princess diaries". @@LilBuu2Good Get ready, because (G)I-DLE is like a girl version of BTS (i might trigger some toxic fans here) - they produce themselves, they write their own lyrics, they are considered unique when it comes how they sound and the most important thing for them is that uniqueness and not being generic, doing their own genre, that's why they're comparable. They are like the opposite of Twice, which is considered a "generic (usually sweet and cute)" k-pop girl group. They even covered a BTS's song and choreo you already reacted to - "Fake Love", and they did it great, being only a few months old group back then. They are considered one of the most talented girl groups in k-pop overall. You won't be disappointed. What i can recommend : 1. Latata (their first song ever that won them a few awards just after a few weeks from debuting and gave them recognition) 2. Hann 3. Senorita 4. Oh My God 5. $$$/Dalla (rapping skills) They made a lot of good songs, but these are to show how diverse they are. Also, their leader, Soyeon (the shortest girl), is considered one of the best female rappers and producers in k-pop ever and she's a real rapper, not a "taught" one to fill a role in a group like it's almost always the case with these groups. She even battled with other rappers on a show. A lot of people are saying that she's a female Suga (from BTS), even though she's original, but both have just HUGE skills when it comes to rapping, songwriting and producing. There's a lot to say about (G)I-DLE, but you need to react to them first.

Hwasa Han It’s not really usual that everyone raps. Whole everyone dances (with Momo and Mina being particularly good at it) and everyone sings, only Chaeyoung and Dahyun typically have rap parts. In fact, the only group where I have seen everyone do everything, including rap, is Mamamoo (and even with them it’s somewhat rare to see Wheein and Solar rap, it’s overwhelmingly Moonbyul’s thing).

My BTS recommendations: Check out "MMA 2019 performance" for the live and then "This is BTS:Crash Course to Wordwide Sensation" for behind the scenes stuff. @@LilBuu2Good Get ready, because (G)I-DLE is like a girl version of BTS (i might trigger some toxic fans here) - they produce themselves, they write their own lyrics, they are considered unique when it comes how they sound and the most important thing for them is that uniqueness and not being generic, doing their own genre, that's why they're comparable. They are like the opposite of Twice, which is considered a "generic (usually sweet and cute)" k-pop girl group. They even covered a BTS's song and choreo you already reacted to - "Fake Love", and they did it great, being only a few months old group back then. They are considered one of the most talented girl groups in k-pop overall. You won't be disappointed. What i can recommend :
1. Latata (their first song ever that won them a few awards just after a few weeks from debuting and gave them recognition)
2. Hann
3. Senorita
4. Oh My God
5. $$$/Dalla (rapping skills)
They made a lot of good songs, but these are to show how diverse they are. Also, their leader, Soyeon (the shortest girl), is considered one of the best female rappers and producers in k-pop ever and she's a real rapper, not a "taught" one to fill a role in a group like it's almost always the case with these groups. She even battled with other rappers on a show. A lot of people are saying that she's a female Suga (from BTS), even though she's original, but both have just HUGE skills when it comes to rapping, songwriting and producing. There's a lot to say about (G)I-DLE, but you need to react to them first.

Twice being one of the most generic k-pop groups is just a fact, it's not meant to shade Twice. Where do you see a problem ? Hwasa Han It’s not really usual that everyone raps. Whole everyone dances (with Momo and Mina being particularly good at it) and everyone sings, only Chaeyoung and Dahyun typically have rap parts. In fact, the only group where I have seen everyone do everything, including rap, is Mamamoo (and even with them it’s somewhat rare to see Wheein and Solar rap, it’s overwhelmingly Moonbyul’s thing).

My BTS recommendations: Check out "MMA 2019 performance" for the live and then "This is BTS:Crash Course to Wordwide Sensation" for behind the scenes stuff. BTS content is never ending, so if you're not planning on becoming a fan then don't force yourself to catch up to everything. I also want to mention BTS's discography is a lot more versatile than it seems from outside looking in. Their sidetracks and solo work is very suprising.
