Bottom firing speaker are garbage as the sounds fires in opposite direction and is easy to block, front firing points directly at you and is definitely better. Don't know why companies always choose bottom firing maybe to make expensive laptop a better buy or it's cheaper or something else
Bottom firing speakers work best on flat surface coz the sound waves are bounced back from a surface and the best part is that they sound shit when not using on a flat surface.
i have an idea pad 330 Intel i3 8th gen which I upgraded to 12 gb of ram and an 256 SSD disk, and it still works wonderfully after 4years of usage. The battery still gives an average of 2.5 hours of autonomy without using the battery saving mode
really? i bought the ideapad 5 and so far i am not sure, somuch bloatware installed i am doing a clean install rn, but the fan noise is super odd for literally just receiveing it today

Lenovos are well built, Dell is meh, HP I swore never again. None of them are Macs but then Macs are not budget laptops, although the M1 MacBook Air is fantastic value when you consider the included 80+ high quality Apps that cover just about everything you'll ever need and the all day battery life. The thing with Macs is you buy once and they last a very long time, the PCs you will be replacing them before too long and then they will not seem so cheap. btw 256Gb SSD is woefully too small as is 8gb RAM.

Acer 7 is slightly better than 5, I got mine for 49k 16 GB Intel 12th gen P series processor and upgradability available for both RAM and SSD, its a very good performer. As long as you don't care about color accuracy, which could be solved by external monitor too as it has 1650.

Asus Vivobook 15 has a 4GB Ram in both the slots, which means you will have to throw away both the rams if you want to replace it with a 8+8GB ram.
