I found the pacing to be immaculate. Ironically, a touch slow for a speed-themed Sentai. I agree it technically has a lot of exposition; if one were to bulletpoint the things we learned, it'd be a lengthy list, but all the individual pieces are partial answers at best. For instance, we learn about the existence of the Space Mafia, but not much beyond that. Orange is no longer merely an enigmatic figure, he has a distinct role on the team (specifically on the delivery man side of things)..... but we don't know how he plays into the team dynamic yet. Ichiro's dynamic with Mira has been ironed out, at the same time, they've teased his backstory, which really just raises more questions.
There's enough that it feels like progress, but not enough that feels like the show's front loading everything into its opening episodes.
BoonBoomger's doing this very Donbrothers-esque thing, where they've singled out a single Ranger to use as the audience surrogate. As a framing device, it's really nifty, we literally don't know much more than Mira atm.
