I'm using tags in a cyberpunk setting in order to tag Cybertech and Biotech. This makes it easy to reference them in abilities. For example, you can only hack Cybertech.
starting a new campaign soon and I've decided to use tags. During character building I indicated that some of the features of the PCs would fall under tags and it just came together naturally. So now each PC has at least one associated tag with no particular mechanic attached. On the other hand with weapons I'm using tags to give each weapon an inherent mechanic to add on top of in the case of rare or expertly crafted weapons.
When using this with characters, it reminds me of Aspects in EZD6 This is really great advice, I will use it in my EZD6 One Shot (ICRPG has taught me a lot that I am willing to integrate in it)
In my encounter tables, I add a column to add tags to my entries. It helps me hint and then describe the encounter when my players come upon them! Tags are just the best, too bad they've been removed from ME.
That’s pretty clever! Having a collection of encounter tools would definitely be useful. Luckily they are still compatible with ME so I’m not too razzed about it haha.
The ones I used in the video were ones I put together myself (The Sword was from the CORE equipment list, The Skeleton was art I found online, The Pillar was art from one of my Look to Your Left Zines, and the NPC was from the Skyline set of Modern Index Cards). But the official ICRPG card sets are available for available for free here: icrpgcommunitycontent.com/
I’ve bought ICRPG not too long ago and I tried running it with some friends but they didn’t really enjoy it unfortunately. Anyone here know of a good place I can find a campaign to join?
Been there before. Always feels a little lame, but just means you’ve got an opportunity to share your fire with more people! There are a few places you could look. 1. The official Runehammer Patreon has a Discord server. 2. There’s an ICRPG community server here: discord.gg/Vzn3aV8m 3. There’s an ongoing community campaign called Alfmarches going on that you can join into whenever you’d like here: discord.gg/Q5KfPj67 4. And finally, you’ve got the Runehammer forums with a lot of good people and good topics of discussion with the occasional game sign up here: forums.runehammer.online/ Welcome to the shield wall! Hope to see you at the table!
I’m a huge fan of tags and also kept them in Master Edition
Same! Great tool to keep in the back pocket regardless of edition 😄
I enjoy how you demonstrate concepts to apply in gaming making it simple, fast and fun.
Thank you! I really appreciate that haha :D

Exactly. It really helps when referencing and differentiating minor adjustments in mechanics rather than creating all new ones.

@@KanesKiln thank you!
If the Tags = Effect game play then I see why tags should be in or back in the game.
What are these cards you are using? Are these in the ICRPG card packages or did you format them yourself?
