Shoulda taken a second to show the unique ability. For those who are unaware, if you make a *Neutral* (standing still without holding a direction) Dodge animation, your character will backstep. While in this backstep animation, if you have the Stamina to spare, attacking with either a light or heavy attack will throw out an aimable vertical energy slash beam that hits pretty hard. Haven't tested to see if it cleaves yet, but it's really handy if you're primarily ranged and want a backup when your two guns go dry, or to finish something off at medium range without reloading.
