Oh my goodness, I didn’t know that video existed. As an ex-passenger and also ex-crew member of the SS Australia, I first met Jo Michat when I arrived in Greece with my two New Zealand companions in September 1971. Jo was introduced through a mutual friend (a Greek officer whom I had met on my voyage from Sydney to Southampton in February 1971) and kindly put the three of us up in his apartment in Glyfada for several months until we found our own accommodation . Jo ended up marrying one of my NZ companions and moved to NZ with her where he has been ever since. We still keep in touch. Was a lovely surprise seeing him singing such a touching song in the video. Thanks Wolfram for yet another treasured memory of those wonderful days.

Great to see those Chandris liners of the past. I like them all but the Britanis is my favorite.
