It was not main Battle. It was actually a start of battle of Yarmuk when Byzantine Roman Army was infront of KHALID BIN AL WALEED and the non Muslims Arabs decided to assist Byzantine Roman Army by attacking Muslims from Back side. So it could have been disastrous for Muslims as they could have been surrounded. So, KHALID BIN AL WALEED decided to deal with those Arabs himself and the remaining Army waited at Yarmuk. Then after defeating the Arabs, KHALID BIN AL WALEED joined main Army at Yarmuk and fought the battle of Yarmuk and won decisively as usual❤
