Right?! Someone finally says it! Haha. Their voice and style hardly suggest they are young. Once I got their names from this song a long while ago, I had to get a couple of other songs of theirs - I don't understand a thing in Igbo, but love the guys.
And I come to tell you that JESUS CHRIST IS MAGNIFIED over your sentiments and over any other that refutes the deeper purpose of this song! It is written: “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do ALL in the name of the Lord Jesus” (Col. 3:17). This is a song that gives the Maker of heaven and earth GLORY, for He’s declaring “My GOD is with me” (MU NA CHIM SO)- and you’re trying to take away God’s glory to instead give it to demons, and ancient spirits that have no power?! All these things will soon bow down to the Son of God! Yahweh doesn’t care about your igbo spirituals or nonsensical traditions of men- He is GREATER than all of them, and anything that defies and denies Him, is rebuked in Jesus Christ’s Name! Stop with this perpetuating of idolatry, which is INIQUITY (a.k.a EVIL)! It’s mentalities like yours that keep Nigeria and other African nations from flourishing by the leading of God’s Spirit, because you worship and make yourself a captive of things that are dead and passed away… “African ancestors”, for where?! Please, make haste to REPENT and free yourself from this idolatrous generation! The Kingdom of God will not wait forever!!
More like thanking his personal God called "chi" in Igbo and what Yoruba call "Ori inu" for his smooth journey through life, while also thanking his mother for her prayers.
Ije= journey ( metaphor for life's endeavours) ; Awele=smooth or stress-free experience;( metaphor for blessing or success in life's undertakings). So, the song (Ije awale is success in life's endeavours). So the song is an expression of gratitude to God for "smooth journey" : success in life's endeavours .He acknowledges that God has been with him every step of the way (muna chi m so-aga; my God goes with me). It's also a prayers for God to grant him more "Ije awele".(success in his undertaking/endeavours).

The whole thing makes you feel home sick. I have played this song over and over even though I don’t understand the language. What talented brothers!!!👏🏾👌🏾
Ibos (or Heebos or "Habarus" rough variants of the term 'Hebrews' as they were known when they first arrived the land where they occupy today in the south-eastern part of Nigeria) are the true people of the Almighty. If they can turn their backs on catholicism, christianity, and other forms of voodoo and idol worship and find their way back to true Hebrew way of life and serving/worshipping the Almighty Creator and He alone, then He'll surely hear their prayers and send His word to set them free. It's that simple. catholic church and christianity are idol worship masquerading as something good .
Igbo has similar names with Zambia, their colour are the same of Zambia. For example you bear chewe, we bear chinwe. There's chi in both Zambia and the Igbo, make some research about this

Eberu seems Igbo. It's a short form of Eberuwa which, depending how pronounced, could mean any of these: never crying through life; merciful/kindness of the world -- I had a childhood friend so named. We are all one people, our ancestors merely dispersed eons ago for greener pastures or by environmental cataclysm; the languages shifted with the dispersion. Great to read from you.

Umu obiligo derserves award
Aku nwa afo I de feel ur voice, much love for you guys flavour my man love the combination. If you love umu obinigbo, heat the like button
No one is talking about the dancers.
They are Amazing!
yes they are amazing
I've always thought that Umu Obiligbo were elderly men. Such rich knowledge spoken by young men
Right?! Someone finally says it! Haha.
Their voice and style hardly suggest they are young. Once I got their names from this song a long while ago, I had to get a couple of other songs of theirs - I don't understand a thing in Igbo, but love the guys.
Same here, when you listen to Flavour in most of his culture songs and Umu Obiligbo, filled with wisdom and Proverbs.
This is not a Christian song, it is an igbo spiritual that our African ancestors are proud are pleased.
Its a prayer, perhaps the best prayer ever!
God bless Igbo,, Igbo Amaka,,,,, hit like if u are proud of Igbo

Flavour is a master in his own right
More like thanking his personal God called "chi" in Igbo and what Yoruba call "Ori inu" for his smooth journey through life, while also thanking his mother for her prayers.

Igbos are lovely people and I'm proud of them. One love
Yes ooo
Thank you
Ibos (or Heebos or "Habarus" rough variants of the term 'Hebrews' as they were known when they first arrived the land where they occupy today in the south-eastern part of Nigeria) are the true people of the Almighty.
Oh please. Igbos have their own religion called the odinani. We are not Jews!
All hail biafra
I'm Yoruba, but i love Flavour's songs, this is now one of my favourites, as well as "Igbo Amaka"

Igbo has similar names with Zambia, their colour are the same of Zambia. For example you bear chewe, we bear chinwe. There's chi in both Zambia and the Igbo, make some research about this
He's arguably Nigeria's foremost songster. He ticks all the boxes. Beautiful Nubia ranks closest to him in that unique class.
I swear this Umu obiligbo's voice demonic pass Enya own. Chaiii me sef don advertise the song pass Flavour wey get am. Like if you did the same

I am Liberian. I have been listening to Ibo music since I was a kid (Oriental Brothers (Warrior), my all-time favorite). I felt this collaboration was coming soon when I saw a video of Umu live in Malaysia- the boys are talented. I do not understand a word of Ibo but I am an Ibo at heart - most beautiful!!! Flavor, please redo an Oriental Brother's song "Nwanne Awu Enyi". I have told my family that when I pass, it should be the last song they play before I am laid to rest ( with copy in my casket). Hi I am from Uganda (East African) I do enjoy the Nigerian Igbo songs and Language in general. I come from West Nile region of North western Uganda where the Madi and Lugbara tribes there speak identical dialect to that of the Igbo of Nigerian. Am too proud to be African. Now watching online from Mogadishu, Somalia. Imela Mr Flavour and Umu Obiligbo
