Actually, according to Soap’s journal, when he rescues Price from the gulag, he describes that he hasn’t seen price since what happened at the bridge. The bridge is referring to the last mission (excluding the plane mission) where the Loyalists save you at the last second.

Funnily enough, they label this "MW3" but storywise it's actually an Activision funded fanmade prequel to *MW2,* not the 3rd game. It just happened to come out during the promo/marketing campaign for the 3rd game to help hype people up to buy it, but storywise it's a prequel to MW2. There is no sighting system that is common place on MANPADs launchers. +Swaggy P aircraft crews never detect any incoming projectiles visually, they have countermeasure system which warns them when self-guided projectile is incoming. It wouldn't deploy flares at all, let alone pilots.

DARK GHOST yeasss and the story linked and made sense too, plus the multiplayer of all 3 was really good and fun. Bo1 and 2 had good online and stories were good and engaging because those 2 linked but Bo3 hardly linked at all apart from one mention of Menendez in story

The events of this short film are set post MW1 and a little before MW2 telling the event of how Captain Price got captured and how soap found out about Makarov. There is one molment that forshadows General Sheperds fate whenever sheperd toseed the file over to Soap and he stabbed a knife into the picture of Makarov and if you had your eyes open you would realise its forshadowing how Soap will kill Sheperd by stabbing him in the eye.
The Almighty MLG whats funny though is that if this really happened between mw1 and mw2, then why the hell did soap wait aaaaaall the until the gulag mission in mw2 to give price back his pistol? he apparently had way more appropriate moments to do that.
Accordingly from Soap's journal,this is what gave him severe PTSD 2x.Was willing to get Price before take off after absorbing the impact from the RPG.Seeing Price left behind and to believed he died and during the last event on the bridge where he killed Zakaev and here.Man I wished they continued the Modern Warfare Series with these actors.These guys resembled everything with the game characters.But one flaw I see from my point-of-view,the AC-130 wasn't flying at a higher altitude.

I agree. I would've had the same reaction he had whenever one of us stayed behind to cover us. Price chose to cover the exfil which he ended up getting captured and sent to the gulag.
This really shows how much Soap and Price loved each other. Best friends fighting to save one another, one leaves one goes, and the bond fades. When they reconnect, their love and trust comes back. I really invest my life towards the Modern Warfare franchise. i really love this video.

So many little things that make it that much sadder. Roach carrying an injured Soap like how Ghost did with him in Loose Ends, Sandman refusing to leave Price just like Price did in the Diamond Mine, and Soap stabbing Makarov's eye foreshadowing his duel with Sheperd

1:39 you see there, he's putting his hand in front of his face. that's a tactical pro move tactic to block bullet from hitting your face. in some rare instances, you can even catch the bullet. at first glance, you might assume he's blocking the dust but dust is not the problem as soldiers get dust thrown at there eyes as part of the training.

There is one molment that forshadows General Sheperds fate whenever sheperd toseed the file over to Soap and he stabbed a knife into the picture of Makarov and if you had your eyes open you would realise its forshadowing how Soap will kill Sheperd by stabbing him in the eye.

When Sheppard said "tell me about price" they missed the perfect opportunity to show a live action version of 'all ghillied up' and that's disappointing
All of the budget went into getting a voice actor that sounded exactly like price.

1:39 you see there, he's putting his hand in front of his face. that's a tactical pro move tactic to block bullet from hitting your face. in some rare instances, you can even catch the bullet. at first glance, you might assume he's blocking the dust but dust is not the problem as soldiers get dust thrown at there eyes as part of the training.

Yeah, looking back, I always thought this interpretation of Price's capture was pretty flawed.
Presumably the Ultranationalist forces deliberately took Price alive because they recognised the value of having an SAS officer as a prisoner, and since the UK and US governments would deny all knowledge, Price ended up being thrown in the Gulag because the Russians have got no use for a dirty secret that nobody wants.
