Great motivation! During naptime today I am hoping to work more on getting my new bookshelf set up. I still have a mess on my dining table. 😊 My family has been very patient, but today is the day!❤
You’ve got this!! I keep thinking I need a new bookshelf, but I’m not sure where to put it. I just keep moving things around the best I can to make room 😂
Hi new friend! First off your homeschool room is beautiful! I love how you organized everything and the cubbies are adorable. We use BJU press for our curriculum, but I really like how my father‘s world is laid out. It looks so organized. Thank you so much for sharing and have a wonderful Wednesday friend!😀
Hey!! Thanks so much for watching and for the kind words! We used BJU Press for a couple of year (still do for some things!), it’s an amazing curriculum’🙌🏻.
Hi Sara! Your homeschool space is so nice and spacious. I love how organized you are. Thanks for joining me on this collab! I hope you have a wonderful homeschool year. 😊
So do yu do BJU or my fathers world curriculum or a mix and also what is the best in your opinion....i have a 6th and 8th grader and this is my first year.
They are both so good in my opinion! I can't say either is "best" because they have unique benefits. Right now I use My Father's World as the "spine" you could say, but at my kids' ages (6th and 7th graders) you need to add in your own math and language arts. So I am using BJU Press for my 6th graders for LA this year. I love MFW for the fact that it's really easy to school together; so this year you could teach your kids together for a lot of the curriculum (they'd just have their own math and LA). BJU Press is pricier, but I love it for it's Biblical Worldview foundation. It's definitely more traditional as well. The Online Video Lessons are super helpful if you are short on teaching time and your kids are ok with some online lessons. Happy to chat with you more about it if you have questions! Cost will be a big consideration between the two, along with the style you feel most comfortable using. I don't think you can go wrong with either for a Biblical foundation option (but BJU tends to be stronger in this aspect I believe).
You inspired me to get basics of biblical worldview last year which I loved. This year I wanted to recommend one to you it's by Summit Ministries caller Walking in Truth under homeschool curriculum tab. It's excellent and they have similar text for older kids.❤

@@blessedhomeschool I had been limping along for a couple years. 😂
I have to have organization or I go bonkers! Thanks for your ideas!😊
Same lol 😂
I’m not a very organized person, so it’s good for me to see how others do it haha! Everything looks great 😍
Thanks for watching!
