ito yung kahit sobrang taas na ng kinakanta nya, sarap pa rin sa tenga, di kagaya ng mga tagged as the belters na nakakarindi na. at saka proper and correct pa rin ang pronunciation ng words.
For me, arrangement or any transition does not matter. As long as she entertains the audience, it's the most important. Lea Salonga doesn't have to prove anything. She is a Diva, a Legend and the greatest singer i've ever heard.
I love how she sang "Run to you" and "I will always love you". It only shows that Lea is Lea! With her own key, style and emotions, her incomparable performance was shown. Truly amazing! Superb
Ms. Salonga is timeless...She can sing anything and each time she does those other tunes outside of her signature songs, she sings them even better than the original artists because of her crystal-clear voice...one understands every lyric....it’s a total joy to listen to her.

Well, Dolly Parton originally wrote/sang I Will Always Love You, even though Whitney was best known for it.
Let's face it, No More Tears could easily have had Whitney with Babs instead of Donna Summer if it was recorded a decade later (in the 80s rather than the 70s).

Alex Arrieta I doubt highly. What my statement really meant to say is that some artists do not have Lea's versatility, hence, they perfect what little they know. Nothing wrong with that! But Lea is on a different level and to even begin to make a Lea/Regine comparison does not, in the very least, make any sense.
