Perfect albums that comes to my mind: Joy Division- Closer, Darkness on the edge of town, Superunknown, Fun House, The Velvet Underground and Nico, Dusty in Memphis, Alladin Sane. In my opinion, they achieve everything that you mentioned.
Loved the video, Brian. I think there is a huge difference between a great album and a perfect album. While there are many great albums, I have only had four albums in my entire life that have been perfect for *me*. One of them is from a Welsh male voice choir, so I won't bore you with that here! My three favourite perfect pop albums aren't necessarily the greatest albums in the world, but I would argue that two of them are amongst the greatest pop albums ever. I would say there are four important factors for me: 1. The opening *three* tracks. 2. The overall number of tracks (I tend to feel there is filler if there are more than nine tracks - yes, Duran Duran, I'm talking to you with every album since Notorious). 3. The final track. 4. The overall *flow* and order of the tracks. This is probably the most important for me. My three perfect albums: 1. Rio by Duran Duran (opening three tracks and final track and number of tracks - all spot on) 2. So Red The Rose by Arcadia (for the overall feel and flow) 3. Listen Without Prejudice volume 1 by George Michael (my most perfect album ever. There is nothing about this album I would change. No filler, perfect track order, the perfect first three tracks and the perfect final track) I think Rio and Listen Without Prejudice volume 1 are two of the finest pop albums ever, but I know others would disagree. Thankfully, we are all different and this diversity in taste is what makes music so exciting. I do agree with Rolling Stone, though, about Marvin Gaye's What's Going On being the greatest album of all time *because* of its messaging and *because* of its quality. It's not perfect for me, but because of its importance socially and historically, I do agree with that ranking. However, as I mentioned earlier, I think there is a difference between a great album and a perfect album. Perfection is in the eye of the beholder, I think!
Queen’s “A Night at the Opera”, Elton John’s “Captain Fantastic”, and Supertramp’s “Crime of the Century” are all perfect albums to me. BTW are you wearing a Dirty Honey T shirt?

Depeche Mode - Violator. It is excellent in every aspect. Quality of songs, production, atmosphere. No weak points. And it was really innovative.

As a matter of fact I am. Got it when I went to their concert last week at the Hard Rock- Orlando. It was crazy good!!!
I think the Joshua Tree U2 not a bad song or fillers on the entire album
