Good video. I have an e85 3.0si z4 and just picked up a clean title 08 e90 for dirt cheap. I need to do some plastic welding to the bottom of the bumper. I put up a initial video up on it.

that plastic pannel that sits infront of the intercooler, would I have to remove my bumper to remove that? vid didnt show if that was held on by the inside or if I can just kick it out somehow
star bits are different to torx bits there are similarities but they are not the same. Thanks for the video seems like the right chore to get the damn thing off but atleast its all screws and not rivets or plastic clips!

To be completely honest I just took my bumper off but I can't seem to put it back on with the screws so I am going to just tape the top screws cause they won't engage

As I removed my bumper a small rubber seal fell out. It's about 4 inches in size and fell from the drivers side. Can't find out where it goes 😖 was near the bottom near the vent.
Probably didn’t belong there lol if prob came from the engine that someone changed out and it fell down and got lost

Follow this video step by step and you should be alright man. Just take your time
You should use jack stands as well. Don't take any chances
and if no jack stands available, throw the wheels you have taken off under it ;)
2:15 No need to turn the car on to turn the wheels if both front wheels are in the air, they turn by hand.
When you buy the car and get the title do you sign it? Or do you wait and let the new owner sign the title?
Pink slip should be signed by owner before the owner accepts payment so all that has to be done is your signature
Why did you suggest loosening the nuts before lifting. What is the reason for this ?
If you try to loosen the lug nuts while the car is lifted in the air the entire wheel will spin and not allow you to loosen it unless you use an impact gun.
Are the bolts underneath the car 8 mm as well?

No. There is a spot in the middle a little bit back
