I've always loved indoor marching. Whether it be Drum Corps, Marching Bands or WGI Winds. The indoor setting is so fascinating to me. Such a small creative space to work with, yet, I've seen some of my favorite drill and visual moments indoors. Truly an awesome experience!!

There was a show put on by a Japanese High School marching band about a year before Avon's 2007 Against the Clock utilizing the same musical selections and the marching in it was nuts! Nacamara HS I believe but I could be horribly wrong. It has been 10+ years and they removed the video from UA-cam ages ago.
Best of the 2 worlds for me coming from a marching band high school and also a Gundam fan. Relived the good old days in me as a drum major. 🥲🥲🥲🥲 Good well done for this Oni masterpiece!

i wonder why they only ever film the drummers and the olthers really only get a bit of camera time? theres a drumline that requires a lot of skill yes but clearly the horn section carries the melody and everything...
If you want a real answer it’s because the horn lines effect doesn’t really work unless you’re in the box, the section is so large and so spread out if you’re on the field with them you’re only gonna hear that sections part where with the batterie you get the whole section in a condensed form. That’s why you really only see on fields for batterie because it’s very easy to capture their entire effect
@@ecolearningyt yea but im asking because echoes in a gymnasium makes it hard to really clean. That's one of the advantages that pulse, rcc, and broken city have compared to other groups in the indoor drumline world.
Glad Japan has the same amount of passion for marching band and regular orchestra they really need more recognition
Having the tenor and bass drums inside the props is a very cool technique
Plus the lid going up - preventing the audience from watching the drums being put on.

一点だけ気になることがありまして、コメントさせていただきます。
刀を帯刀する際ですが、刃部は上です。本来は刀は下から抜くのでなく、上から抜くものですので、刃部が下にあると、鞘からは抜けないことになっております。刃部を下にすれば納刀も楽にできるはずです。
関東大会、全国大会共に見させていただきました。
本当に素晴らしい演技でした。
