Met both Paul Z and Wylie on the Canadian Cowboy Train - a long with Tom Russell, Andrew Hadin, Ramblin' Jack and Don Edwards -such talent and such great people - it was a memory to be treasured and never be forgotten

im gonna risk alot of down votes for this, but i dont believe youve heard this song until youve heard tom russell sing it. this is beautiful, but i dont think it tops toms version. however, it is pretty cool to finally hear the poem that inspired the song.

chopsie01 Tom did a great job on his version and Wylie did an outstanding job on his version.. so instead of giving your comment a thumbs down I decided to give you a finger up.. 🖕

I've known great poets from coast to coast and Zarzyski's got nothing and everything to prove to every one of them.
