I'm also not sure why you are triple stacking all your divisions on the frontline. Once he breaks through, there is nothing in the rear to stop him. I think you'd get more bang for your buck if you double stacked key hexes and had more forces in depth digging. 2-3 hexes deep defensive lines do much better than a big defense upfront and then nothing as the soviets.
@@kevinmilligan917 Paradoxically, you only having one line makes it more likely for him to break through. Right now it's late winter but in summer he will have more than enough MPs and armor to encircle all those triple stacks on the front. That's not to say they shouldn't be used at all, ie: in and around Rzhev you should strongly hold key hexes, but having depth will create zone of control in your rear and lines of lvl 1-2 forts your troops can fall back into.
Why do you still have fortified regions on the frontline? I mentioned a while back, it's a waste of your precious manpower every time they surrender. Units will build lvl 3 fort when in contact with the enemy so when the frontline advances to your fortified regions, you should disband them to recover the guns and troops.
Half the time I forget. Sometimes I fall for switching the support units around for artillery and AA. I'm trying to get flak kills higher but yeah I do forget quite a lot as I'm in my turns. I'll write a note to address then when I start my turn tonight.
Yes but for me I knew I had to play against a person to take it seriously enough to keep up with it. Hurt me in many ways but I have a tendency of always starting over and never seeing mid to late games.

I'll try that out. Always worried about the breakthroughs. The first year definitely caused some fears in being surrounded.
