So.... I am a Hospice nurse. I have been watching these videos for some time now, as I am frustrated with the medical field, and am just ready to simplify and live my life. The only thing stopping me....is me. Im afraid to leave my comfort zone, regardless of how miserable I am. I have no family, except my son, and he is all grown up. I do have two dogs big dogs, that would have to be my companion, as I am afraid of my own shadow, and I love them so much. With each video I watch, especially the women, it makes me want to hand in my resignation tomorrow, and just go for it. The freedom one must feel.
Autumn: Outfit your vehicle for a 5 day camping trip, and one thing will lead to another. That’s how I hung up my RN shingle and hit the road full time. Never again will I get yelled at by a doctor, or have a patient swing at me, or fill out reams of insurance papers! I may be broke, but it’s on MY time! :)

Do what u can to make money now. The cost of living is astronomical. A war with Russia or China is looming. Go camping but keep your job.
Do a few part-time car camping trips 3 days see how you feel. Do it with what you have if possible but ensure your set up for a bed is good. You would be better doing agency work at the hospice if possible and picking your shifts. Don't avoid trying car camping out forever as life is too short. I part-time car camp around work. Started with just tent camping with basics and then went into a small tiny Cheverlot Spark. From then I have not looked back. I love car camping. You do everything on your terms, I love parking up and doing a hike and coming back in my set up to relax. I have got more gear as I have gone along but have made some silly purchases. So just try things out first. You will love it. 🇬🇧 solo female car camper 👍🏿

That Vodka for disinfecting, & cleaning dishes without water, is genius.
I love, the way she's putting seasonal clothes in pillow cases, and it looks prettier than putting clothes in boxes, and I'm also trying to be minimalistic in a 1 bed apartment, but I could really live in a studio with separate bathroom and kitchen.Hello from a Swedish woman, livin in England, UK

Oh she’s no joke! She’s got everything covered. I love her and her van!!
Just a tip, the porta potty blade should be open while you use it, the waste goes straight into the holding tank, then spray with water and close.
If the blade is closed while in use waste will be dragged back into the seal when you open it which will cause it to smell.

50/50 lemon water sprayed onto the mattress, kills dust mites and bed bugs on contact and prevents them from returning. 🍋
Spray after you get out of bed, so it is dry by bedtime.😍😍😍 Almost all bugs hate lemon 🍋

Absolutely LOVE Adrianna and her channel. Oh my gosh you guys look like you are becoming such good travel buddies - that is so terrific. This was a great vid and the set up is so practical and cozy. I actually laughed out load - mostly at the innovative dishwashing liquid. Never tried spraying MY dish soap in my mouth. 😂😂😂

I am 55...but still hv a 12 yr old daughter at school...but I dream of hitting the road some day....this is just what I am thinking of. Not a huge costly van and conversion...just brilliant ideas. What a very Smart Lady.

The shelves as a bed platform is genius and saves on weight which saves on gas… love it! The gutter covers for ventilation 😳sis whaaaat?!?! Yes! Brilliant! It’s like those you can buy for your front windows but WAY better… unless it starts raining, cause the other ones have shields lol. Thank you for the tour ladies, that was great.

It’s actually easier to open the porta potti pull out handle before going to the toilet, then it plops straight into the bottom tank and no residue left in the top bowl!
Hi Kim, that is a great idea!!! However, I don't like the aroma of the enzymes in the tank, even the lavender one, my favorite, is a little too much perfume for my sensitive nose. Opening the latch for just a second allows for the perfume to come out, even that little bit is not nice for me.
I think your suggestion will help others, thank you for that, I hadn't thought of the possibility!

This is the life I want to live one day. I have young kids so it would be a bit complicated to do right now but when they grow up it's off on the road I go. It seems like such a liberating lifestyle. Theres always something exciting and it breaks away from the drab same day to day schedule of working, sleeping, and repeat. I've been feeling so bored in my life with serious cabin fever stuck in the same house doing the same thing. I can't wait to have a sense of excitement in my life and travel wherever I want when I want. Till then I will stay humble good things happen when they are meant to happen.
Same here. My daughter is 8. I think I’m going to buy a van and do it on long weekends and vacations. After she finishes school i will buy one of those nice vans. I’m always watching these videos

First: thank you for being a devoted mother!!! Kudos. My youngest came to my life when my two oldest were flying out of the nest. So I had to start ALL over again!! Diapers and no sleeping at night... you know what I mean... so, after 40 years of talking care of kids, now I get to take care of me.
Keep that idea on your dream board, you won't need to wait 40 years to drive to the sunset... and keep dreaming, that way, when the time comes, you will enjoy it twice as much or more!

Or puppy pads. On the floor while you’re cleaning your self. Ever since I had puppy’s in my life I’ve had puppy pads. The big bag of them isn’t very expensive.
Ms Devine who just got married who is now preg has the perfect van as far as I’m concerned. It’s not too big and not too small. It’s got all the stuff I want and a great van. Now hers is new and it’s about 100 thousand. She saved for it for yrs. She’s so well organized and so smart. She still works from the road and her husband and her just bought a house.
They have 4 dogs between them. And two vans. They bought a house in Arizona. She knew she met the right guy when she met him, cause he was traveling in a van with a dog and so was she. And their dogs got along good. lol
I love her van. It’s got so many cute things thst make it look homey.

I'm new to #vanlife, and I don't actually have a van, but a short school bus, but prior to purchasing Wanda (my bus), I watched thousands of videos on vanlife, skoolielife, etc.....and some would say, "why are you watching a video about a van tour when you have a bus?" exactly for this reason: everyone knows something.....nobody knows everything, but everyone knows something. I LOVE the gutter-guard idea and will use that for Wanda....awesome tip! I use vinegar in a spritz bottle only because, duh, I didn't think to use vodka! So smart! and I literally laughed out loud when she said you can spritz some in your mouth whilst doing the dishes (or dish) haha. Great tips and advice....thank you both for sharing. P.S. I realize you posted this video months ago, but I've just recently found you on YT (and subscribed of course).
