  • Henry Hill, the main character of Goodfellas, played by Ray Liotta, was an associate of the Lucchese Family. Counting Jimmy Burke, Tommy DeSimone, and Paul Vario amongst his closest friends, Hill was involved in some of the mob's most infamous moments. Today we will examine his rise and fall.

Fun fact: Ray Liotta voiced the protagonist Tommy Vercetti in 2002's GTA Vice City. Tommy Vercetti's character was heavily inspired by Henry Hill and obviously Tony Montana from 1983's Scarface.

No, but if go on the lam and move out of state. Way better than flipping and essentially proving their point.
Edit: Eitherway I can't blame him for going to the feds as self-preservation is human nature.
But the worst bit to me is these guys flip as soon as they face significant time yet might later claim they had a change of heart or that they would have done the time on the chin. If that's the case then testify out of spite and ask the judge for the full sentence as if you hadn't.

Great movie but understand something much of it is exaggerated when it comes to Henry. Henry did witness alot of things but he wasn't apart of most of it because he couldn't be relied on.He did take part in certain aspects but nothing extreme. He got pinched for selling drugs and to beat it he gave details on certain big timers and the Heist .

There is a simple reason Hill maintained until he died that he didn’t murder anyone:
Murder has no statute of limitations. If he’d ever talked about people he’d murdered, he would instantly be arrested and charged with those murders. My assumption based on the stories is that any murders that Burke and DeSimone committed, Hill was also involved in to a significant degree, even if he wasn’t the button man.
