- I went to North Bay Ontario for the weekend, to do some travel photography and walking. TWO FIRSTS: This is my first time visiting, and I had a new Viltrox 85mm lens with me on my Nikon Z9, the first time I've used it.

How's the new video format taking shape? Let me know if this is interesting to watch! 🙂 FYI: The video is not sponsored by anyone, I paid for my new lens and accommodation etc.
I enjoyed this Simon. May I suggest, Killarney Provincial Park and the town of Killarney for a jaunt? The Georgian Bay granite and wind swept Group of Seven scenery is phenomenal! Around Sudbury, so a bit of a drive. If you do go, I highly recommend Herbert Fisheries for the best fresh-caught fish and chips!
Thanks Catherine, I had looked at Killarney as a possible place to visit a while back, so will take note of your recommendation! Herbert Fisheries... watch this space 🙂
@@SimonBurnCreative , if you enjoy a challenging hike, The Crack in Killarney Park - George Lake entrance, is also spectacular
@@catherinegardner3041 I've researched this hike, it's on the To Do list!
How you managed to make North Bay look worthwhile visiting is almost as impressive as your photography and walkabout video. Great job Simon.
😎 🤐
Hi Simon: Thanks for creating and sharing this video. I have a very fond place for North Bay as it is where I started my 40-year Banking career as a trainee. We were up in the Bay just a few weeks ago and spent some time over at Duschesnay Falls. What a wonderful spot! Keep well...Cheers, Keith (Barrie)
Hi Keith, Since I discovered North Bay, I've become to love it and hope to return soon. A quiet place, off the radar for most people. Duchesnay Falls is incredible, I can only imagine what it's like in Autumn! All the best, appreciate you taking time to comment - Simon 😊 🙏🏼
Really enjoyed that Simon. This is what I like. You take us along with you. Although, I suspect it's probably more interesting now than it will be in ten years time.
Thanks Neville, I enjoy making these kinds of videos, so will work on the format, despite it being the worst performing video of all time so far! 😆
Interesting place Simon, a mixture of traditional landscape and street on offer. Looking a tad empty as you say. Excellent standard of documentary video as always and the shots looked good, favourite at 23mins with the group of ducks and island 👍👍
Thanks James, yes a real mix, although I would have liked to have spent some time doing street photography. An excuse to go back then! 🙂
