Love the sound of the British diesels. Can’t get my head around the American migrants. Engine revs in no way correspond with speed or grunt and when they are stationary sounds as if the the timing chain is slapping against the cover. Not to mention the infernal noise within the driver’s cab so I am told. Really enjoyed the videos coming from my local town. Spent plenty of time as a youngster on that footbridge. All the best. It was mid afternoon and was on the footbridge for just over two hours. The action just kept happening though. I really went expecting just 73's on RHTTs, so the six 69s and a 37 was a fantastic bonus. Probably will be a lot quieter by mid December, unless the leaf fall decides to slow down.
