In this video, Patti Behan shows you how to make a mixed-media tag that uses a transparency to make a pocket. This would be a great addition to a journal spread for a fun and interactive way to add a hidden message.

You're right. Sorry for the misspeak
I adore Dina Wakley media but I just can't get on with the gloss sprays at all.
Why not? What if you mattified the paint? Or is it than once the paint dries, it is no longer affected by water?
Gloss sprays are a great idea but a waste of money as a spray. Doesn't matter how much you take care storing and cleaning after trying to use they still won't spay. You can see them coming out in drips and blobs here. Such a stressful product 😫
I love the finished look & dome colors are nicer than the paint form (pastels like carnation, mineral, aloe, sand). I don’t spray much, but use as a paint.
@@madhattersoriginal6258 A thought occurred to me after I read your response a second time. Have you tried soaking your clogged sprayer heads in soapy water made with an oil based soap? I use Murphy’s Oil soap for cleaning dried acrylic paint and mediums off of my tools & stencils. Dr. Bronner’s 18-1 works too.
I am not fond of sprays in general so I tend to make my own and use it up at the time. I toss everything in a pan of soapy water as I go. And I use Murphy’s Oil for the soap. Maybe this is why I’m not getting clogged sprayers?
I have Distress sprays that I have had for years. But the only acrylic paint sprays I’ve used have been the DIY kind. I also mix in some rubbing alcohol to make the paint dry faster.
Now I want to try sprays on a gel plate. That might look cool. Have to see. Maybe I will discover a technique that makes me like sprays.
@@rtd1791 TY but sadly I have tried all that and also hand sanizer gel. I replaced each spray top with a new one from Ranger. None of them work either. I pour, brush or splatter them. Love the colors, wish Ranger could fix the issue. I would never buy again.😳
