Hello all. I had BCC on side of nose as well and Moh's surgery 3/7/24. Thankfully only one pass was needed until I hear my new favorite words "your margins are clear". Then he asked me what I wanted to do ...I could leave the hole to heal up on its own, he could stitch it, or he could do a skin graft, or I could use a plastic surgeon. I opted for him to stitch it as he said I would end up with a "line" scar. He was able to stitch that hole and completely hide it which is just amazing to me and the stitches are along the side of my nose. I had absolutely no pain while he was doing the "pass" on the BCC area and no pain while he was stitching it either..of course there's a little pinch here and there while he's injecting but that is minimal as well, and highly tolerable. Hardly any discomfort after, either, I've just used a little tylenol at times and kept area clean and using petroleum jelly to keep area moist that assists in the healing process. I can share photos and my support with anyone who needs it. May God bless us all.
