    Kofta curries are very popular in India, particularly in north India. The koftas are made using different vegetables such as bottle guard, cauliflower, cabbage, jackfruit etc. In this recipe I have made kofta using jackfruit and potatoes. This recipe video provides a step by step process of making kathal (jack-fruit) kofta curry, I have also provided tips to enhance the texture and taste of the curry.

    Ingredients List: 🥕🌶️ सामग्री
    For Kofta Balls:

    * Jackfruit - 350 gm (with peel 500 gm)
    * Boiled Potato - 2 medium size
    * Salt - 1 tsp
    * Water - 3/4 cup
    * Turmeric powder - 1/2 TSP
    * Cumin powder - 1/2 TSP
    * Black pepper powder - 1/2 TSP
    * Grated garlic - 1 TSP
    * Grated ginger - 1 TSP
    * Chopped green chilli - 1 TSP
    * Chopped coriander leaves
    * Salt to taste - 1/2 TSP
    * Chickpea flour - 4 tbsp (40 gm)
    * Oil for deep frying
    For Kofta Gravy:

    * Onion - 3 medium size
    * Garlic - 8 to 10 cloves
    * Ginger - 1 inch
    * Green chilli - 2
    * Oil - 1/4 cup
    * Cumin seeds - 1/2 TSP
    * Bay leaf - 2
    * Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
    * Black cardamom - 1
    * Green cardamom - 3
    * Clove - 3
    * Dry red chilli - 2
    * Turmeric powder - 1/2 TSP
    * Red chilli powder - 1 TSP
    * Coriander powder - 1 TSP
    * Cumin powder - 1 TSP
    * Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 TSP
    * Garam masala - 1/2 TSP
    * Salt to taste - 1 tsp
    * Hot water - 3 cup or as required
    * Chopped coriander leaves
    * Ghee - 2 TSP
