as someone who has climbed above 2000 i can say with certainty that what you are doing wont get you far. There is a reason why the tortoise beats a rabbit in a race. For the same reason one game played and analyzed well is worth more that 1000 games spammed even if you follow it up with a brief engine "analysis". I analyze every game 3 times. once without any assistance. I try to identify where i went wrong and what had lead me to make the error (were you to lazy to calculate? why did you overlook the fork ect ect really think about it). it is important to acknowledge what you did and be practical about it. 2nd time with the engine but only the evaluation to give you hints what moves where good or bad and try to figure out why. 3rdly with the lines to understand and play lines that you could not figure out to learn from it. Long term your playing strength will improve greatly.
I understand your comments coming from a good place but also realise that I’m making the analysis short on the videos deliberately. But Yh I’m not gonna pretend I don’t lazily analyse a lot of the times and I should probably spend more time on it
@@VoltzChess The analysis could add to the value for viewers. also it could also be removed in post unless you are live streaming or uploaded as a separate shorter video. I might have come across as a bit critical because I use to spam games like that but once you hit a rating plateau more games wont increase your rating. you need to improve if your goal is 2000+ and just spamming games will do little or nothing to achieve that. you need to identify what mistakes you are making (especially the frequent ones) and improve on it. and the rating will come by itself. you can play 2000 games with a 50/50 result and not see any improvement and play 100 games with a 100% result and gain 100-150 elo . what lead me to this realization was i played someone above 2000 elo and i wondered how they got to that rating and noticed they have not improved for over 2 years despite playing 16000 games, at this stage i was just over 1900 after only 300 games and i realized that my plateau will continue if I continued down the same path. Now we all have limit, a rating we will never cross due to age/genetics but a plateau is not generally due to the above but rather the effort that was put in. But in the end not everyone has the time or patience to achieve their full potential so that is up to you
